    People give Avatar far too much shit for it's cliche story, it's execution was flawless. The film was in no way weak, it literally raised the bar on visuals in cinema. Film is a visual medium so it's kind of a big deal you know. That said his other films are all great so it's not even an insult calling it his weakest. The title belongs to True Lies though. Agree with the Marvel and War of the Worlds lines though, haven't watched TGS or Jumaji 2

    So was Avatar in 2009. It stayed #1 for some 3 or 4 years despite the booming market. agree about the local production and China being a complete wildcard though.

    He was overbudget on the most expensive film ever made and was late at the time, he had multiple fires under his ass and the media was loving talking aboit the "shipwreck". Whedon would have a mental breakdown if experiences just half the pressure. Also bare in mind Jim has handled more pressure than any director ever (literally). Titanic's success was so beautiful that the executives giving him shit all got fired because they agreed to remove Jims flat fee and change it to a percentage. Comparing Wheldon to Cameron is a sin you must repent now or you will never be at peace. Put your palms together and repeat with me. "Forgive me Jim for I was a fool"

    Jimbo spent 3 months of full days writing the scripts with Tim and another acclaimed screen writer. It's also the being produced by lightstorm. He's put his trust in Tim and will do everthing je can to make sure its good while respecting Tim's boundries
