After all these years, the best non-disney non-marvel opening is still the first JW movie. Besides that, HP8 & Batman movies are the best. I guess $150~170M opening is more realistic for JWD if WOM is really that mixed.

Considering F9 can earn somewhere around 60%, I'm not sure if JW3 would do that bad on RT. One of the positive thing from early reactions is original cast do well. Maybe it would do good for audience score.

I just check the MON BO list. And I'm sure $12.1M is the best non-holiday MON performance in third week ever. Better than what Avengers Endgame, BATB, TDK, Incredibles 2, TLK made. Only behind movies with holiday support like No Way Home, Avatar, Shrek 2 or 3.

I can take any spot over TOP.5 or TOP.7

Why it did better than JW2 in Brazil according to DL? Local currency? In the current session, Mexico, as noted above, set records. Also chomping on notable starts was Brazil with $4.4M, beating Fallen Kingdom (+24%), Maverick (+31%) and Venom 2 (+36%). This was Universal’s best pandemic opening in the market.
