  1. Pattinson's better than anyone in that movie imo. Sienna Miller only slightly less wasted than she usually is.
  2. 47 Meters Down was... watchable. I'd say it had exactly one frightening moment which barely lasted a few seconds.
  3. Destroyed my ass. It's still your decision whether to see the movie or not, and whether to trust reviews or not (and if yes, which ones).
  4. Checked the opening Wednesdays chart and TF5 is going to be the first Wednesday opener to miss 3x from its OW since The Matrix Revolutions.
  5. I'd say just right. Its PTA drops so far have been good but nothing extraordinary, with that kind of expansion the average should drop over 50% again. 11-14m weekend.

  7. Looking at past Marvel July releases, The First Avenger did a 2.71x, and Ant-Man had a 3.15x. I think SMH is pretty safe to land within that range, which would mean anywhere from 317m to 368m total if we're talking about a 117m OW. With summer weekdays in full force, under 300 would basically mean a Man of Steel kind of run and that's just not happening.
  8. 4 multiplier because you can't exclude the weekend. The gross as of Thursday is 358.7m, that's where it needs to get to 400 from.
  9. That's a pretty good one. I think I might see My Cousin Vinny sooner rather than later now. You seen The Wrestler?
  10. I still listen to Spidey 2's soundtrack. It's dorky and corny as all hell but endearingly so. The power of childhood I guess. Same deal with the soundtrack of the first Transformers, except in that case, unlike with SM2, I'm cool with never seeing the movie again.
  11. Don't forget poor Dylan Baker. Dude just hung around for three movies as a walking tease for The Lizard who never happened.
