  6. You know what film I can see breaking out, Spies in Disguise. Not like $200M+, but I could see a $30M five day and a $100M DOM total as Cats seems like a non event and Frozen 2 has died out.. Does anyone with some insight want to give thoughts on that?
  7. @cayommagazine More cast members join Total Drama, as Jake Kasdan (Jumanji: Welcome to The Jungle) directs. - Global Globe nominee Lana Condor (Miraculous, The Ancient Magus Bride and King of Cats) stars as Heather, the bossy and manipulative teen with a heart four sizes to small. - Madeline Madden (Dora and The Lost City of Gold) stars as Sierra, the super stalker and number one Total Drama fan - Anthony Ramos (A Star is Born, In The Heights) stars as Alejandro, basically male Heather but with charisma and outstanding beauty - Greyson Russell (Borrasca, Diary of a Wimpy Kid) stars as Harold, a geek with striking similarities to Napoleon Dynamite - Bridgette Lundy Paine (Bombshell, Atypical) stars as Gwen, nihilistic goth chick - Peyton List (Jessie, Batman: Hush) stars as Lindsay, the beautiful blonde with a heart and hair of gold, though not the brightest bulb. - Beanie Feldstein (Booksmart) stars as Beth, Lindsay’s BFF More casting news as well as a plot will be revealed Christmas.

  9. I’m out of likes but great speech.
  10. @cayommagazine After the resounding success of Academy Award Best Animated Feature winner Gateways, Endless Animation is ramping up production for one of its upcoming features; Seaside. Xavier B. Irving, was always a fan of musicals, and wanted to develop a great musical for Endless Animation, and pitched an idea based on his Caribbean and African culture with help from Kemp Powers (Pixar’s upcoming feature Soul) for Seaside. Seaside will be the first entirely traditional animated film from Endless Animation as well as having a watercolor/paintery like style, as well as being the first animated film with a predominantly African-American cast and crew. Kemp Powers will direct the film as he and Joe Robert Cole (Black Panther, Static Shock) will write the film as Ava DuVernay (Selma, A Wrinkle In Time) will produce. Inspired by classical musicals, Black Panther and Moana, Seaside takes place in a far away islands of Novos, a Carribean inspired island, that is home to the most majestic mythical creatures, and thriving with magic, thanks to devine god-like being, the Phoenix. However, for a thrilling life, 14 year old Princess Zora (Shahidi Wright Joseph) wants something more simple in life and pursue her passion in music while her sister Princess Note (Yara Shahidi) is excited to become queen, hellbent on upholding tradition. However, when Anasai (Jamie Foxx), the evil trickster spider god has been released, it is up to the sisters to work together, alongside the spirit of their ancestor (Craig Robinson) before he can unleash a plan to control and reawaken the Phoenix. The cast includes: Shahidi Wright Joseph as Zora Yara Shahidi as Note Jamie Foxx as Anasai Craig Robinson Audra MacDonald Common J. B. Smoove Meagan Good Cuba Gooding Jr. and Raven Symone Seaside tentatively aims for a Holiday Y8 release date
  11. I didn’t get a chance to send in the speech as I forgot to make one, but I’ll give one on the fly. Gateways has been a project I had in mind since I was 10 years old, to see the idea evolve over a decade into what it is today, and to my surprise, being regarded for some as better than my previous Best Animated Feature winner Can You Imagine?, as well as my first all original animation, a surprising box office juggernaut, and most of all, creating some beautiful that I’d never make with the love and support of you guys on CAYOM, and reviving my passion for creative writing, I want to thank you. I hope to keep on making films on here as long as I can. Thank you all.

  13. Also pleasantly surprised. Go Grace!
  14. I’m so happy for Glover, as he earned that nomination. Hopefully this is the start of a CAYOM career resurgence for him.
  15. Yeah, we need a four way tie. Let’s repeat Y3.
