    Still don’t think it’s a good idea to be honest. As the Reeves film may hurt despite the R rating, and Pigeon 2 will likely be in mid to late July.

    Now to plan out the rest of my schedule. I have a solid idea on where Pigeon 2 is roosting as well as a concept for The Music In Me’s release date. Eyes will aim for either right before Spark, late March or August.

    It’s nothing personal but I just want the best legs possible for BAG2 especially as it and Mass Effect are in spitting range. As well as keeping IMAX as long as possible. Why not trying to see if Blankments will share for Carmen’s Voyage?

    TFW when you have a great idea for a project that you can make a decent 4-5k word count movie but have to wait until June for the rights to go up.

    I’m good with that. Besides not expecting Tintin to be huge in IMAX as it’s animated and even then I only have it during the holiday season as it’s the only way I can get a decent DOM total ($100M-$150M is what I’m hoping for)

    @cookie to entice you on this, I’ll only give Tintin 100 or so IMAX theaters like what we have with TSW2 and TUSG.

    I’m cool with this as even though the two are big PG-13 movies, Mario will likely benefit from being the major animated movie of the holiday (though can I get the majority of IMAX?). And the market is big enough for it to gain a $80M-$100M five day.... right @Spaghetti?

    I’d rather have XJ-9 open after BAG2 and sharing IMAX.

    @Spaghetti Question, how much family skewing is XJ-9 cause I may switch Mario and Phoenix IMAX dates around if it is not very family friendly and Mario like all animated movies wouldn’t have the biggest IMAX pull but it’d also screw anyone wanting to open a family film around Thanksgiving.

    Here’s my feelings on this. I don’t want Phoenix to have short legs but I also realized I fucked a lot of people over (and arguably kind of caused this pileup) when I took the two prime November spots. So for fairness sake, I’m okay with that as long as I retain the majority.

    I can see it doing well in Late September but the problem is the lack of IMAX. But even if it has IMAX, the legs would still be stronger than opening in October.
