Is it wrong I agree with Ethan on this one? I can see P2 and TSW2 over $100M OW but AMD3 is more around $80M-$90M OW.

A major benefit Aladdin has is even with Pikachu, the family drought that has been around for the first 4 months aside from Dragon 3 will help it.

I can’t realistic see it under $200M even though Disney will give it the short end of the stick marketing wise as again I bet they’d rather have Endgame/TS4 over-perform and Ritchie’s divisiveness in film. Dumbo in hindsight was a case of it perhaps being too somber and maybe too old and Aladdin has a wider fan base. Although $300M is probably the ceiling. It, Pikachu, Pets 2 and TS4 will all eat into each other being released in the span of 8 weeks as I can see a very realistic possibility where only TS4 reaches over $300M DOM.

September and October was kind of weak this year, hopefully November/December will put back some life.

December might be a while to get through. TUSG, TSW2, and Sabrina combine for about a 56K word count.

It’ll definitely benefit from being the first major animation since Dragon 3, and knowing Universal’s marketing, I honestly don’t think it’ll drop that hard. In fact, I suspect it and TS4 will be really close to each other number wise.

Eric Bauza (Superjail, Looney Tunes, El Tigre) also joins the cast of Toons as Hammer Hands, a Popeye like Flippino wrestler with ungodly super strength based off of both Popeye and some of the younger takes of heroes such as Mighty Mouse and Underdog, and 60s/70s Batman/Spider-Man. Hammer Hands is animated similar to that the old Popeye cartoons.

@cayommagazine Danny Pudi (the Ducktales franchise) and Niki Yang (Adventure Time) have been casted in Endless Animation’s Toons. Pudi plays W0-RY, a lanky robot described in build as a mix of C3PO, Johnny 5 and EVE and a natural but lovable coward ala Scooby-Doo from the beloved cartoon Motorized Mysteries. Yang plays Chai, the genius inventor who created W0-RY as the two are inseparable best friends. Both of the two characters are animated in a style similar to Scooby-Doo and some of Hanna-Barbera other teen based/comic relief mystery shows like Jabberjaw.

@cookie I am this close to choosing Bex Taylor Klaus for a major role in one of my animated features. It’s practically a coin flip between her and Tara Strong.

That feeling when you have the perfect idea for a character in the film but you used it in the wrong film.

@cayommagazine Rick Famuyiwa (Dope, Static Shock) to write and direct an untitled post apocalyptic drama for Infinite Studios involving a father (Chadwick Boseman (42, Artifacts' Zephyr's Crest)) and his son (Evan Alex (US)) must travel across a ravaged and hellish landscape filled with beasts, religious cannibals and lack of water as the son learns what it means to grow up. The film will release sometime Y6 as the studio hopes to have it and Eyes as the main OCs of the year.
