  2. Yeah, I’ve read the myth and I’m pretty sure Posideon rape wouldn’t be suitable for families. It’s definitely more akin to the unused animated feature but I do plan on using some Greek mythos in the story think Hercules.
  3. I still believe it’ll go to Disney+, the trailer and posters refuse to state the release date.
  4. Drop Gigantic and replace it with Medusa (CG Animation/Musical/Fantasy) - March 26th, Y5 - IMAX - Directors: Lauren Faust and Meg LeFauve
  5. @cayommagazine ”Beauty is only scale deep” In a shocking turn of development, Endless Animation’ Gigantic has been pushed back due to story problems in favor for another project that has once been decaying in development hell, Medusa in active development. The project will be directed by Lauren Faust (My Little Pony) and Meg LeFauve (writer of Can You Imagine? and Inside Out). Nathan Greno (Tangled, My Peoples), Lauren Faust and Meg LeFauve will write the script and the former has received credit as a producer behind the project, alongside Lauren MacMullan (Get A Horse!). Like Gigantic the project is also a musical with songs by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman, and Tim Rice and score by Mark Mancina. The plot is as follows: “Medusa is a kind hearted and brave tomboy, concerned about her own body image to try and fit a certain mold to win the affections of her crush makes a deal with Aphrodite (Tiffany Haddish) to become beautiful and becomes the talk of Greece. However, a jealous Hera curses her, transformating her into the snake haired monster we all know, despise and fear. Medusa must set off on a quest with her blind best friend yet gifted inventor, Gnosis, a young troublemaking shapeshifter who transforms in everything she doesn’t want to, Phoebe and a lovable satyr with a passion for gold, Tom must embark on a quest for a cure while evading a pompous yet dangerous bounty hunter (Jeremy Renner), hateful angry mobs, unbelievably crazy monsters and a series of other trials while learning Beauty is only scale deep” Idina Menzel as Medusa Cate Blanchett as Hera Diego Luna as Gnosis Marsai Martin as Phoebe Ken Jeong as Tom Tiffany Haddish as Aphrodite Jeremy Renner Linda Cardellini Jake T Austin Jenifer Lewis Hugh Jackman Medusa will arrive in theaters, March 26th, Y5 in 3D, Dolby Cinema and IMAX. Medusa will use Endless’ Worldmeander technology to blend CG and hand drawn animation used for Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive and the upcoming The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl but follow a more traditionally animated flair ala Paperman.
  6. That’s also what I did, when I knew I wouldn’t get Gigantic done when I wanted, I finished Squirrel Girl and Artifacts.
  7. Here’s the thing though Lion King likely has the advantage of being the main event of the summer, where everything around it is trapped in a cage with it. There was a time when we believed the Star Wars fanbase would give Solo a minimum of $100M OW. Aladdin again faces three family films aiming at or have a good chance for $300M (Pikachu, Pets 2, and Toy Story 4) during the May-June period and the fact that the teaser isn’t extremely well received not to mention between Disney having to juggle three major blockbusters during the summer to market, I’d think they would focus more on TS4 and TLK. I’m not denying it won’t do well and there is evidently some hype behind it but the competition surrounding it along with other issues is why I think a domestic underperformance is likely.
  8. I’ve been thinking Dora has a chance for $100M DOM for a while as well as Paramount biggest film of 2019.
  9. Do it @4815162342, join me, @Spagspiria and @Xillix to bring Potter renaissance to CAYOM Y5.
  10. BTW you and @cookie will get the spoilers as an apology for Lost Earth May or May not making it on time.
  11. @Spagspiria The steampunk cyborg is still in the film as well.
  12. Drop Lost Earth and move Travis Knight film (now titled: Phoenix: Rebirth) to it’s spot on April 30th and give it IMAX.
  13. @cayommagazine Seems like Endless Entertainment won’t just bring Artifacts from the ashes but a much pursued film that was supposed to arrive Y4 that is being reborn Y5. Travis Knight (Kubo and The Two Strings, The Amulet franchise, The Legend of Zelda: Secret Of The Guardians) will produce and direct Phoenix: Rebirth, the reinvented Connor’s Legacy. Village Roadshow Pictures (Spark: Homeward) and Lin Pictures will co finance the project. David Callahan, Christina Hodson and Shannon Tindle will write the fantasy project with Dan Lin as a producer. The film will carry a budget around $175M-$200M Endless Entertainment CEO and founder, Xavier B. Irving is particularly excited as he was a big fan of both Kubo and the Amulet franchise, as well as hearing good things from Bumblebee quoting “Travis Knight is the perfect director to bring the vision to life. The project will still carry a smaller flair to it though as it very much is a coming of age story first and foremost.” The plot reads as below: “Connor Griffin (Abraham Attah) is a young man, a sophomore in high school on the verge of finding who he is. His father never had a presence in his life but had his mother. However, Connor learns that he is from a long line of royalty, as well as the wielder of the powers of The Phoenix, a legendary source of power allowing the user control over fire, enhanced abilities, and flight and is forced into the kingdom of Novos, a realm full of not just humans, but sprawling with mythical creatures such as elves, orcs, wizards, valkyries, dragon and mermaids divided into 6 kingdoms after being hunted down by bounty hunters, as he teams up with Valeria, a grizzled valkyrie warrior who’s sworn to protect the Griffin family as well as train the young Connor, as the two embark on a quest to stop restore peace and unite Novos and help Connor master his powers, before an ultimate war breaks out that’ll endanger both realms.” The cast comprises of in addition to Attah: Rebecca Ferguson Sterling K Brown Henry Cavill Anya Taylor Joy Tye Sheridan Bobby Monyihan Jason Momoa Olivia Munn Bradley Cooper and Zoe Saldana The project will arrive April 30th, Y5, in 3D, Dolby Cinema and IMAX 2D+3D, replacing Lost Earth which will ultimately still try to make the Y5 slate but is pushed back for the time being as Irving is said to have a very busy schedule and wants it perfect. Happy New Years.
  14. Oh. Wasn’t it originally December though?
  15. Heart Attack releases wide in December, Associates is December 3rd.
  16. I know it won’t but I was referring instead of the three superhero movies during the holiday. That said I can see all going over $100M, and two with a shot at $200M.
  17. Squirrel Girl is about to manslaughter both Rock N Roll and Associates.
  18. No, it’s an original idea I’ve had brewing for a while.
  19. @cayommagazine Endless Entertainment is working on an original musical titled “The King of Pop” using the music of Michael Jackson throughout the film ala Mamma Mia!, David Fletcher (Bohemian Rhapsody, Rocketman) will direct the project.
  20. I mean Red Cresent Pictures is basically the Blumhouse of CAYOM so I don’t have a problem with Voicemail, as it’ll likely be around Amityville numbers.
  21. @cayommagazine @travisknight Midnight New Years EST
