As long as the spin-offs are after the sequel, I think ITSV2 will be a breakout sequel and have a strong jump provided a good release date (think 21JS to 22JS). -
Ratatouille is one of my favorite animated movies but no. There’s nowhere the story can go from there and unnecessary.

Is it wrong that I can see a slight Lego 2 breakout, not necessarily $200M but like Lego Batman numbers. There hasn’t been a big animated movie since Spidey and both Poppins and Bumblebee haven’t wowed families.

The fuck happened to Poppins and Bumblebee? Those are some fugly drops. Aquaman and that -50% is also surprising.

Nah, I mean we all know the last part is sadly true but I believe the strong family competition of Jumanji and Greatest Showman really hurt it, whereas Moana had just Sing to worry about.
