ICOI increased by 20+. ICOI is starting to sell its second showing finally. LS's currently selling is reminding me a lot of its preview weekend. Slow start but then rapidly increased as the showing times got closer. TR is over 100, which it needed. It is 20 tickets away from surpassing Red Sparrow....which it will easily do. Tomb Raider Similar Films Red Sparrow- 123 tickets sold Atomic Blonde- 145 tickets sold Love, Simon Similar Films (Not good comparison at all...there really aren't any) Wonder- 79 tickets sold Every day- 53 tickets sold

    I agree, if it opens with $2-$4M then Pulse and MT are useless and shouldn't be used for tracking. The film is selling on par with A Wrinkle in Time. The biggest thing holding it back is the theater count of ~1,600....but then again you had War Room in 2015 having a 1,135 theater count and opened with $11.4M. We had God's Not Dead with a 780 theater count and opened with $9.2M. I am thinking based off tracking, historical data from Christian films, and gut feeling it will open with $10M this weekend. I won't be surprised if it cracks $12M...fuck even $15M. Shack 2.0.

    So I made a post on Facebook about this film and encouraged people to see it. Guess who comments and likes it? My die-hard very conservative Trump supporting Grandma of 73 years old. Guess who is seeing it Saturday with her lady friend? Yep, she is! She apparently loved the trailers and wants to see it because she finds the story "impressive" My mother (her daughter) has struggled and not accepted me when I came out and still doesn't..because of her Catholic beliefs. I never came out to my Grandma officially because I was afraid I'd get the same rejection. I just feel so happy and good right now. It really reenforces why films like this are so important. My parents will never see this in theaters but I am going to buy the movie when it comes out on DVD and watch it with them. Hopefully it can lead to a good discussion and a happy ending for me coming out. I can't say this enough. Please take your friends and family to this film. It is probably one of the most important films of the year and no doubt one of the best/touching films of 2018. This film will impact so many young adults and kids. The film might seem idealistic but hey, it shows LGBT+ kids that this is the family and friends they deserve. They are worth love. Their stories matter. Again....fucking 94/100 Better than Call Me By Your Name hands down. Fight me

    Dark Side is gonna get slammed by y'all...but fuck was it fun to write for the most part. I got burnt out at a certain point (I think you will see it). Altogether I am proud of this series. It will be up by Tuesday night at latest!

    Bought the book yesterday and already half way through. They did the book justice. Movie is as good as the book so far. Congrats to Fox...you did good sweetie!! Now, just get that theater count up

    Early evening Pulse 15 minute watch Love, Simon: 81 tickets Tomb Raider: 99 tickets I Can Only Imagine: 157 tickets Love, Simon is picking up Tomb Raider might be dropping or just settling into the flow of things...still a low number. ICOI: Same comments as Tomb Raider. I will give a final update around 10pm central time for today. I'll do tomorrow at 9am, 12pm, and 3pm CT. Unfortunately, I'll be out celebrating a friend's birthday in the evening so I won't be able to do the 15 minute evening and night watches. Friday morning though I'll give a 9am # and my theater's final preview attendance #'s. Then I am off to Chicago for St. Pats!!!!

Tomb Raider is starting to get momentum...could be to late though. ICOI is dropping off. I am not surprised by this.
