  4. Say what you want about this series...it really had the last laugh. All three films topped (third will) $100M domestic and performed well internationally. It definitely shows there is an interest among audiences for erotic films. Imagine if we got a quality erotic romantic film. Could be a huge hit.

  7. Nostalgia will keep this from being a BFG. Also it has less competition, looks more interesting, and looks like a crowd pleaser.
  8. Ugh, I am nervous about Bartimaeus. I think I am getting in my head and gonna sabotage myself with the film in the end. I really need this series to workout since it will be a major blockbuster franchise for my studio. If it doesn't deliver then I am basically shut out of the blockbuster competition. I am less nervous about Earth Defense Force since that is already relying heavily on overseas markets (who is primarily targeted to) and is light hearted. I think it will be a GA pleasure even if it gets hit by critics harshly.

  12. Going on vacation in 10 days. Hoping to finish up Dark Side and edit Bartimaeus then.
  13. RuPaul’s Best Friend Race Date- April 26th Genre- Reality Rating- PG-13 Theaters- 2,695 theaters Budget- 10 million Running Time- 90 minutes or 1 hour and 30 minutes Studio- O$corp Pictures Director- Nick Murray Plot: RuPaul brings on the past winners of RuPaul’s Drag Race to compete against each other to find out who is the super star of them all. The competition is fierce and the challenges incredibly hard. During the competition, Violet Chacki almost walks off the competition due to drama between the queens. There is the typical drama and dramatic moments like on the show. The most shocking moment is when Bianca Del Rio is eliminated after a lip sync (she never did one in RuPaul’s Drag Race). Eventually after many lip syncs and drama, Bob the Drag Queen is crowned the ultimate queen.
  14. I hope this does more than 50M but I agree with @The Shape of Pasta. Easy A numbers should be the target. Good thing is, competition is low for March so this film should see solid legs. I am thinking: $15.8M/56.3M with good reviews Meh or negative reviews: $14.2M/42.7M Edit: My version of this breaking out: 22.6M/89.5M
  15. Just got back. Terrific film. Highly recommend it! The visuals, story, and acting are all fantastic. The pacing was slow but not boring...at least to me. Alex Garland is a rising star and I can't wait to see what he comes up with next. Definitely seeing this again. Worth the $10 ticket price. A Also me to Paramount for not having faith in this film.
