That's a great example. I read all of the books previously but without it there are holes everywhere. Too much content to fit in.

Depends. If one can accurately access the situation and understand the movie I agree. If one is left to conceptualize or blatantly guess at the end then in my eyes it failed. Some love movies that have no real ending allowing you to philosophically think about the directors intentions. I loathe those types personally. To some a movie with obvious plot holes everywhere forcing you to fill in the gaps is bad. Others see it as a good thing.

I imagine weeks 5 through 9 should (week 8 when End Game comes out) will be very nice drops for CM

I would think you were right but I got thread banned right after I joined for way less. Promoting unconfirmed conspiracy theories seems like blatant trolling to me what do I know? Nothing wrong with being wrong. I thought US would max at 60, I wasn't even close with my high 50s prediction (originally 48 before the crazy prebuzz tracking showed that was impossible).

It's already at 900+ right now and has at least 150+ more to go (granted it will stay at 7). Thor 3 was seen as a success and CM will outgross it by 200+ million.

Yep agreed. I think 80 million is possible, 70 million for sure. Tracking was way off on US, so I don't really care about that aspect.

Just wait until it reaches the top 9 for super hero films. Slim chance for 8th (including Incredibles) but I don't see it personally.

Oh hell yeah. I was literally hoping for 100+ opening, 300 DOM and 750+ WW. Murdered my most hopeful prediction until I saw the 150+ predictions before Thursday's release.

That scene never should have existed, certainly not the end like that. It was so bad. That director was god awful.

People definitely go in with negative perceptions and they don't even try to separate their own feelings when giving an objective reviews which is such crap. On both sides, the DC vs Marvel war is tiresome. I've liked almost every superhero film, loved basically none of them. Thought CM was good, thought Aquaman was better which surprised me, really liked BP, and Infinity War while great left me with me the obvious incomplete feeling as it did for most I imagine. All of those are of course IMO. I've had high expectations for this film since I found out Zach Levi was in it. Even higher now, I hope it breaks out even better than US did relative to tracking and expectations.

46 reviews in and 93% rotten tomatoes 18 reviews for Metacritic and it's at 76. That's incredible.

For me it was both. He never should have killed him and it wasn't that entertaining. I still liked MoS but it was too grim and left me feeling meh after. Wife actually straight up disliked it.

Yep and GOTG2 was 20 million lower. I think CM will add at least 88 more after Sunday.

I hope this film is as great as Superman 1 or if not Spiderman would be wonderful too. Not triggered myself. I hope it explodes in the box office.

You should. It's incredible. That seems like a great comparison.

Good god don't tell me that, my expectations will be sky high and I will be severely disappointed.
