Oh this was teeeerrible
EDIT: Just to add some more. It's as bad a film as has ever been made in the comic book genre - and edited to within an inch of its life. Things are set up that never gets paid off, things seem to be paid off that never got set up. It's a film with only the laziest plotting that completely lacks a vision or purpose.
I see people saying they should've scrapped the scene in the movie and go with this one instead and it's like... the point of the scene in the movie isn't that character, it's the narrative conclusion of the other character.
Got the Critics' Choice distinction. Definitely not unheard of for comic book films, but it seems to be staying at 91 and I can't remember the last time one got higher than that.
