Lets be real: The only one actually (emotionally) affected by Inside Out 2 (possibly) passing Jurassic World is probably me (and maybe @CJohn and @THUNDER BIRD)
Also, i probably also need to take the blame of this topic coming up in every weekend thread. So if youre annoyed by that, blame me. No, actually i refuse to take any blame because im not actually posting about it that much when i think about it, i blame the people who want to make fun of me for actually taking all this seriously and always rooting for the evil that is Inside Out to overtake poor innocent Jurassic World

Super Mario Bros, Barbie, Inside Out 2, Deadpool and Wolverine - no matter what evils they throw at the king, Jurassic World will
leave the Top 10 DOM!!!

In my well-respected opinion (and as someone who has a lot of credibility here on these boards as someone with truly unbiased takes), i support the notion that GxK is the best movie that came out from Hollywood since Oppenheimer.

And there's a difference between what you said and our old pal lordmandeep claiming that the show is now a smoking crater that is an affront to Martin's work
Wait? Is @Torontofan actually Lordmandeep?? LOL suddenly a ton of things (posts) would make way more sense

According to whom?
I mean i personally think Season 2 has way more good than bad, but the online reception of the season is certainly very mixed. Plenty of fans (especially many book fans) have criticism towards the season. Reception to Season 1 was way more positive in comparison.

I cant believe im the one who has to stop the JW hype, but seriously, theres no way in my mind that this one will come close to the first JW's numbers. Its a second reboot of the franchise, following an underwhelming "final" entry of the prior trilogy. I think a 100M OW would already be a big success.
Now, that could change with marketing, trailers etc but right now, i would be cautious with predicting very high numbers for this.- 1

Well, George RR Martin posted a blog post today where he heavily critisized the showrunner Condal for his handling of certain aspects of the story and what they might mean for future seasons. He deleted the blog post just hours later, so make of that what you want.
In any case, George isnt all that happy with Season 2. -
Cant wait to hate-watch this with a group of friends in a few weeks.

Perhaps Jurassic World will be avenged by Jurassic World Rebirth. Doubtful but possible. Not a chance imo. For me anything, above 300M DOM / 800M worlwide for Rebirth is a big success since its basically another reboot of the series. I dont think (right now of course, without any marketing material) that it will come close to 1 Billion, let alone 650M+ DOM.

I don't see $1B this time out after Dominion (as hated as it apparently) barely crossed it by its finger tips.
Expecting more dwindling returns. $800M-$850M, which is still a big ass win.
Yeah you know that your franchise is kind of a goldmine if 800M worldwide is seen as "dwindling returns".

JW is awesome. Fallen Kingdom is underrated. Dominion sucks.
A JW film with the entertainment factor of Jurassic World, the cinematography/atmosphere of Fallen Kingdom and the scope of Dominion -

I think if this film manages to come close to Dominions numbers, it would be a really big success. This is essentially the second reboot of the series after the first JW and it has to kind of prove its existence since Dominion did leave a bad taste in many peoples mouths.

My wish list for the big Three:
Land: Argentinosaurus (a dinosaur)
Air: Hatzegopteryx (disclaimer for Universal: Not a dinosaur)
Sea: Mosasaurus (disclaimer for Universal: Not a dinosaur)
I agree with the Ichthyotitan fans here wholeheartedly, but that species was just described this year, so i dont think it would be possible for the filmmakers to include it even if they know about it. And to be honest, the Mosaurus might be way too big in the JW films, but it was also way underrepresented in Fallen Kingdom and Dominion, so i woudnt mind some Mosasaurus scenes at all in this one. -
10/10 movie description, 10/10 pics.
This will be a 10/10 movie. Im not biased, im objective.

Believing Grace Randolph when it comes to box office knowledge is about as wise as thinking that r/wallstreetbets offers good financial advice.

I tend to agree. Im a huge LOTR fan and also a huge anime/animation fan, but this one just doesnt feel right to me. The animation style they chose feels off and i dont really see the point of this movies existence.
