Since when did I say CW's box office was bad? I just says its multiplier is bad, and if a movie like CW could get a 2.27 multiplier, there is a chance that Thor 3's leg is not as good as people expect. CW is front loaded partly because of it's huge opening, but it has almost all of the Avengers in it, while Thor 3 only has 2, so a 120 opening can also be considered quite big, and it might influence its multiplier. There is also Justice League coming in two weeks, which will hit its box office hard. Again, Thor 3 has a pretty big chance of hitting 300m, but it is far from secured.

Wouldn't have good legs is different from a 2.2 multiplier, the latter one has almost gone into the awful area. 2.2 is one of the worst multiplier of MCU, if not the worst(need to check the numbers). And CW is one of the most praised MCU movie. Thor 3 has a chance of getting 300m, a pretty good one actually, but far from secured.

I don't recall any body predict a 2.2 multiplier for CW after its first weekend, but it happens anyway. Sure you can find reasons like "it's depressing"(really?) or "it's too fanboy centric” etc, but that's not something you would say beforehand. So I don't think Thor 3 has secured 300m, especially considering that JL will appear in two weeks and takes a lot of box office from it.

From what I've seen, Bronies are just the same as every other fandom: mostly nice people, but also has lots of toxic and awful ones. I don't find it so much worse than any other fandoms. As the movie, I think they should stick with the original cast with a new villain, instead of introducing 5 to 7 brand new characters, but Hasbro has to sell their toys I guess. It took them several seasons the fully explored the main characters, and now they will probably become one note characters again in the movie due to the limited screen time.

Come to think of it, all those talks about "relax, it's a spidey movie, there is very little Iron Man in there" isn't really helping the box office. If this was a Spiderman/Ironman team up movie, I think more people will want to see it. Team up tend to bring more audiences into the theatre and Iron Man(or RDJ) is the most popular character in MCU.

I wish they stick to the whole Cap and Bucky thing through the whole movie, instead of wasting time on the whole Sokovia Accords bullshit they throw out of the window since the middle of the movie. There is enough reason for the government to goes after Cap, they don't need some documents to drive the story forward.

I have to disagree here. Marvel's best perform movie, Avengers has 0 romance storyline. In my opinion, you either have a decent romance story line, or you have none of it. All of Marvel's love stories are half baked and lazy written(even Cap and Peggy, it's better than the rest, but not decent enough), that's the problem here.

Even though I don't like the direction they are going with, Spiderman: Home Coming will open 100M+ and gets over 300M for sure. Every MCU movie featuring Tony Stark has passed 300m, with only one exception, the Incredible Hulk. There is a reason why they put Tony in almost every trailer and poster and other marketing material.
