    I agree with this. This movie has been marketed well. Just because we haven’t been blasted with ads and tv spots doesn’t mean they are dropping the ball on marketing.

    Well this is my home market and I believe that person is posting from the AMC at the NorthPark Mall. Nobody wants to go through the effort to traverse that mall to go see a movie. Especially late at night. Other theaters (Alamo drafthouse, Studio Movie Grill have 50-75% sellouts for showing at 9-10pm

    Isn’t the budget minuscule here, atleast compared to other superhero movies. Doesn’t need to make that much to profit and get a sequel. Maybe 400m is all that’s needed. The only prboem shazam is facing is to not get lost in the crowd when Endgame market Ramps in the weeks after Captain Marvel releases. So far Endgame marketing is very heavy and emotional, an of course there’s going to be action in it. So Shazam’s best bet is to play up the character comedy Which they are doing a good job of.
