He is a very good actor, but his quality and skill as a writer are a complete unknown, and Warners will not let him near a word processor

You know the number of times and people they had have a crack at the script for the last 5 years so at this point they're probably like what could another story treatment do harm when we've heard so many by so many guys since this project first began.

    A DARKER Flash?

The Flash has many dark tales that are very tragic but with bittersweet message about family and love.

Also anything darker than Whedon Flash (they overdid it many times with that one)

Yeah at this point if multiple directors have come and gone from the project maybe the problem is the lead actor not being able to jive with anyone who comes on board.

New Line’s Shazamwe hear is set to fly to a $40M-$45M start when it opens on April 5, a healthy opening in the marketplace after Captain Marvel‘s $153.4M, Us‘ anticipated $40M+ start next Friday and Disney’s Dumbo on March 28 which has a wild range from $58M to $75M (from some studio analysts).

Early previews have sparked plenty of positive convo on social and Warner Bros. as we announced yesterday is holding paid previews via Fandango on March 23. If the movie wasn’t good, believe me, the studio wouldn’t be holding paid previews. Shazam!, though it cost $100M before P&A reportedly, is not Aquaman, so the industry should go easy on expectations here for this DC superhero. In unaided awareness, the demo that studios typically buy TV ads off of, Shazam! is even at 21 in men under and over 25; females under 25 are at 17, which isn’t shabby.

    75Million for Dumbo ??

Shazam is an unknown superhero at best but i dont think anyone's kid knows about Dumbo

yep, that's why then they say it's the biggest OS OW for MCU or whatever, it isn't quite fare to movies that didn't have day and date roll-out but a slower one. many movies open in China and some other markets weeks later.

I mean I dont pay that much attention to non-avenger MCU OS runs but I just recently realized that its a pretty big opening none the less.

That WW OW makes it only 2nd to IW for a CBM

Is this going to be one of those things like LeFou in BATB where you hear about pre-release and then after the movie is seen you're like wait that's it?
