    So according to Disney the offical number is 199M. Looks like I win again and won’t be having any crow for dinner. I knew that the 200M mark wasn’t gonna happen. The best part is I didn’t have to sit analyze numbers for days - I just went with my gut. Being right is just second nature to me.

    I’m giving her a pass because estimating numbers is not her main focus. While people here have had YEARS of experience - yet seem to be failing all the time. It’s like a chef over cooking his meals constantly. First it was 700-800 DOM, and now this mess with China. I didn’t even have to look at the presales to know that everyone was overhyping it.

    To be fair she has a career and earns money of talking about movies. She doesn’t have time to sit in a basement analyzing every single piece of statistics. She just did a realistic estimation based on what the previous movies had done - nothing wrong with that.

    1.9 - 2 billion. If they promote it right with an epic trailer and such. Also it depends on how captain marvel does as well. If the movie is good it will get some additional hype.

    I mean it’s possible that it falls off and doesn’t even reach the said number. I’m just not gonna overhype myself and then end up being disappointed. I was alredy tricked once - people promised me that the domestic would beat Avatar (700M+) and now it’s clear that it won’t happen.
