    Can anyone if check that boxofficemojo number for Netherlands wrong? It says 1 mil opening weekend for the movie but it has made 10 mil to date. Thats literally just one million less than infinity war. It seems wrong to me.

    Lmao, is Mortal Engines beating TLJ for worst legs for a December film? That is absolutely awful. At least TLJ opened to over 25 times the opening of Mortal Engines. The weekend has been a bit disappointing but I think we kept our expectations too high. It really wasn't the bloodbath we were expecting.

    $2.8 mil weekend for Aquaman today. Seems like a good hold. Hopefully, more screens get added now that Mary Poppins Returns seems to be underperforming.

    No one is attacking anyone other than you. People here just don't like Snyder's DCEU films and would wish he had never directed any DCEU films because he has done more harm than any good. He destroyed all the goodwill that Nolan brought back to the brand after the brand was completely shat on by Schumacher in 1997. I would be happy if you were done with this forum since all you have done is be a Snyder fanboy and attack anyone who thinks Snyder had done huge damage to the brand.

    I got the total number through Thursday from Gitesh Pandya and Friday total number from box office pro. I then subtracted them both. Made a dumb error in my subtraction though. The movie made 0.8 mil on Friday, not 1.8,

    It could still get around 76 mil if you include the previews from before Thursday and that counts I guess. On a side note, I heard walkups were really good for Aquaman. It could have really good legs here and reach 300 mil. The movie is having really good legs in most OS markets. The movie is looking to blow up in SK too after weak presales.

    LMAO, no. It was dumb and a romantic depiction of exploitation. I have no clue how a movie that has a musical number with Zendaya and Zac Efron can be considered mature and artsy.

    That makes zero fucking sense. The UK really seems to hate this movies from critics to cinema chains. Not sure what the audience really think about it.

    I know a lot of people are happy that Spiderman had a bump today but it's not a great bump for an animated film. The Grinch and Ralph bumped by 18% and 14% respectively. Ferdinand had its first Thursday right before Christmas too and had a bump of 22%. Spider-Man is performing more like superhero film than an animated film. Not sure if it's reaching 200 mil.

    Wasn't paying attention to this movie's foreign box office at all and thought it would have made around 300 mil OS but damn that is really bad. No one outside America seems to care about Dr Seuss.

    When will we be getting Thursday preview estimates and Cinemascore for Aquaman?

    If Mary Poppins keeps underperforming then maybe. Bumblebee doesn't seem to have much interest and Spider-verse isn't looking to have an amazing performance either (it's doing well but the movie likely won't break out). Don't bet on it though. 300 mil is the safest bet. 400 mil will only happen if the WOM is as great as Wonder Woman.

    I would personally watch Vice out of all of these movies but considering that it seems to be very divisive, I don't recommend watching it (unless you are sure both of you will like it). You would be better off saving up for Glass.

    Doesn't it being divisive before release make it better for legs if the movie has good WOM (which this movie certainly will have)?

    That's more than double Wonder Woman's second weekend. I'm guessing the movie has good WOM in Russia.
