    Hope this does not kill the chance of a 3rd Antman. I want more Evangeline Lilly as Wasp. She was incredible in this and stole the movie. Its better than IW and way better than BP and TR.

    Deadline 5TH Writethru, Saturday after Friday 11:44 PM post: Overall a respectable opening for Disney/Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp this weekend with projections currently showing an $82.4M 3-day which is 44% higher than the original title’s $57.2M opening. In addition Wasp‘s ticket sales are besting the low-end of tracking’s $75M forecast.

    Well it is a crowdpleaser. Seen it 3 times now and people seem to enjoy it everytime.

    I hate Dr Strange. Its the worst MCU movie after Thor 2 and IM2 and IM3.

    I still think they are lowballing JW2 its saturday increase usually is very strong. The definition of a walk up movie.

    Lets see if that 2 and 3 spots hold for I2 and JW2 i still have my doubts I2 can overtake JW2.

    Why would Aquaman move to the same month as their Fantastic Beasts 2. There is noway they are gonna sabotage any of their movies.

    That writer on deadline throwing solo and JL under the bus to sugar coat Wasp. Last i heard none of them cost 300 million plus either he must put marketing into account here. Just so unprofessional of him

    So its coming right in where its projected the first time then and its no walk up movie after all if those numbers hold. Still a nice jump from the first one.
