2. Oppenheimer - ¥22.75M / ¥340.83M
Seems like it's going to cap out at $55-$65 million.
@Issac Newton, Can you pull up the tickets sold for Captain Marvel (2019) and Aquaman (2018)?

The problem with DC isn’t that the fanbase won’t show up, it’s that the general audience won’t.
Opening Weekend for Blue Beetle garnered $25 million. That's about 2 million tickets.
Are you saying they are only 2 million DC fans in America?

Man all this talk about DC box office success reminds me of when the first Flash teaser came out and people were projecting a billion. I’m getting Nam Flashbacks, if only it became reality.
But alas, I KNOW the fan base won’t show up for this one either. 100% Guaranteed

No Amber Heard in sight. But judging by the teaser, I think it can do anywhere from 200mil to 1 bil WW

Audiences will default to other movies for Holiday season. My prediction is both Migration and Wonka both end up shellacking it. Families will watch Migration or Wish, Teens and young adults, will watch Wonka, adults will go for Ferrari or Napoleon.
It’s going to be a #WishSweep

Netflix can "weather the storm" much better than most others in the AMPTP as they are less reliant on Hollywood. The biggest show ever on there, Squd Game, is Korean, meaning strikes don't affect it.
My guess is that their numbers are fudged heavily. And if it comes out so, it'll affect their stock prices.
Netflix will be the last hold out among the major production studios.

"The Flash cost $200 mil to produce, and it's going to lose more than that" is the Hollywood accounting that we can trust!

They seemingly imply that WBD is one of those companies that wants to make a deal already which confirms my previous theories.

WB is leading the pack again. Is there anything Zazzy can’t do?

Wednesday did 300+ million minutes over 5days
Season 4 of ST did 250 million minutes
One piece season 1 did.140 million minutes
Queen Charlotte had similar numbers
And season 3 of umbrella academy did just under 130 million
All these Numbers are fudged. I refuse to believe this.

I remember when, except for the coming attractions, theaters did not have commercials before a movie....
I love arriving 20 mins late, so that i can skip the trailers of movies that I'll never watch. It's extra convenient that they allow booking of seats nowadays.

The Disney+ Hotstar price in Indonesia will increase from the current $13 per year to $52.4 per year from October 3. People are complaining about the recent price hike in the US, but this is a whole other level hike lol

How are you going to hike your prices by 300% in one sitting?

Damn maybe they should do something about that then
$300M, in losses, could've unironically came from Shazam, Blue Beetle, and The Flash alone.

Can someone smarter than me explain why a company like WBD or Universal or any of the big studios wouldn't agree with terms separately to gain a bunch of goodwill and get a big leg up on the competition?
They're making less profits (cord cutting, streaming not being as great as they imagined, etc.) as years before, while borrowing/cost of debt is high??
