It makes things even worse, IMO. Coming from a movie that made almost $1b Adjusted DOM only to a finale that may miss that same $1b but on a GLOBAL scale is a type of implosion that I've never witnessed before.
Maybe they should have never said screw you to the fans?

A lot of people are posting on Twitter about how they cancelled their reservations and showed their refunds or cancellations on phone caps. Wow man, this movie had so much potential.

She was right about 007.

Even if this movie does not do well, it can still be commended just because the studio went back and did what was right. I'll watch it because of that reason.

Detective Pikachu made this success possible, its great run proved that video game movies can do very well at the box office. It forced the Sonic team to step up their game and obviously inspired directly the
rip-offnew design. But I do hope the DVD includes the original Miller Cut.
Pikachu is still cuter though, but compared to what he was Sonic looks like a diety now. Don't worry when Pichu is revealed in the Detective Pikachu sequel, that'll be the king of cuteness.

Spider-Verse 2 and Black Panther 2 in the span of a month, the excellence.
How are the nexflix numbers for this movie. The oscar buzz definitely boosted it's video sales a lot.

SOMEBODY GET THESE ASSHOLES AWAY FROM STAR WARS! This panel left me furious, they have no idea what they're doing and even admitted that. What a disaster.

Pirates of the Caribbean this is not. This has Tomorrowland written all over it.

Yall ready for the bullshit Disney and Marvel are gonna build if Birds of Prey is successful? Probably greenlight an A-Force movie in February.

October means officially Hocus Pocus time! This movie is iconic, a sequel would do gangbusters.

It’s an upcoming streaming service created by Jeffrey Katzenberg. It’s “gimmick” is that it’s mobile-only, and instead of 22-minute or 44-minute episodes, they are all cut up into bite-sized, 10 minutes or less.
I hate every word there too
Yeah that'll be gone within a year.

Literally everything but Disney + and maybe HBO Max will fail. Like this is a no brainer.
The ones already around will do fine and adapt but every new one from Peacock to Apple TV will flop badly.
Streaming Wars may be going on so get ready for The Rise of the Pirates.

Maybe it was the “meh” reviews. Maybe it was Avengers sucking up all the attention. Maybe it was really only appealing to Pokemonfans and nobody else. But it’s so bizarre to think that something that had so much going for it on paper just did so painfully average. But weirdly enough, this film’s “fine, but could have been better” box office permeated through just about every non-Disney release this summer. I guess it was, in a way, a sign of things to come.
I would add not only did Avengers suck up all the attention it also sucked up the theaters. Pikachu had to make a lot of it's gross in matinees and it lost a lot of evening showings to Endgame.
The DP sequel won't have to deal with any of this so it's already likely gonna be a better box office result.

Lewis Tan for Kung Lao or Fujin.

Hawkeye got skipped last night too.
Little Mermaid and Artemis Fowl also got skipped. Suffice it to say, Disney just had too much to talk about.
You can only announce so many things. If they made a million other announcements, all of their news would start overshadowing each other. Heck, it may already be at that point. They'd only be stealing the spotlight from themselves.
I was expecting them to do a chart again to reveal the next live action films, ala phase four chart. They did it last D23.
-
So the biggest trending thing from D23 was not The Mandalorian but Lizzie Mcguire reboot.
Trending topics for D23 aree still Hilary Duff, Kit Harington, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Ms Marvel, and Gordo.
The last one is especially interesting cause Gordo was not even mentioned it's just people want Lizzie and Gordo on the show.

This is the true selling point of Disney + and will make it a must in every household.

Sold.
Lizzie and Gordo need to be married or instant cancel.
-
I hope they realize Lizzie Mcguire was successful not just cause of Hilary but the trio and her brother. Like Lizzie and Gordo better be married in this show and Miranda better be back from her vacation.

Is Disney going to put Disney XD stuff on their Disney+ service?
Is there a complete list of their catalog?
I saw on the screens online that they're definitely putting in the cartoon marvel series like the new Spider-Man that show on Disney XD plus Ducktales. I also saw Kim Possible, Raven, and Lizzie Mcguire will be on there which sold me completely.
The sell for Disney + are the nostalgia properties. The old Disney movies and TV shows from old school Disney Channel.
-
Adam Warlock could also be a good choice. I'm sure Game of Thrones fans want him to be in Eternals alongside Richard.
