  1. Endgame GCC UAE: $12,785,169 Qatar: $2,691,276 Oman is $1,021,640 Kuwait: $3,227,367 Bahrain: $1,945,311 Total: $21,670,763
  2. I have at $629.1mn. Same as official. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/19FMGxiYylQCRPWmETDsjYYxTZOj2EElHhXWCF655CbY/edit?usp=drivesdk
  3. Doesn't really matter to Indian perspective. It was sold as FF film and it did so. In fact, the trailer had better response than FF films. And it's not like franchise has some fanbase for characters/story, just the genre/brand driving the film. FWIW, I won't be surprised with F9 below H&S. Also, H&S had just good opening. Nothing of anything big.
  4. Top Openings weekend for Hollywood films in Pakistan (in PKR) Avengers Endgame (2019) : 13cr Fate of the Furious(2017) : 9.8cr Avengers Infinity War (2018) : 8.65cr Hobbs & Shaw (2019) : 8.5cr Furious 7 (2015) : 7.48cr
  5. A$2.3mn. #2 behind GoTG2. The film did another A$900k in Telugu version which wasn't reported to MPDAA.
  6. That's my question because Indian films number were reducing a bit from then and now they are slowly reaching that level again. That makes Padmaavat even more impressive 😛
  7. TS4 exceeded Inc 2 after being about 35% down in first weekend. So it won't just meet Inc 2 numbers but exceed them. Also worth nothing is, it dropped just 30% compared to 39% of Inc 2, so it has huge momentum going ahead. $36mn is least it will do. It will also get Labour Day expansion. $450mn is happening.
  8. So that would be affecting the gross as well. It sure did for Punjabi films. Back in 2016, a film opened to $406k but now even the one which did best in last 3 years is $353k, last weekend.

  10. Let's use this thread for these countries. Bahrain Cyprus Egypt Iran Iraq Israel Jordan Kuwait Lebanon Northern Cyprus Oman Palestine Qatar Saudi Arabia Syria Turkey United Arab Emirates Yemen I will be reporting UAE and Turkey every weekend. Egypt every week and other countries whenever I get. Turkey has has a very good box office system, their own MOJO-esque. https://boxofficeturkiye.com/ Egypt Weekly https://www.elcinema.com/en/boxoffice/ @Olive
  11. Studios do release numbers, websites might not update. Avatar number was there for years.
  12. @DeeCee the tickets for Indian films were reduced from $18-20 to $12-15 in HOYTS chain in 2017. Was that also for Hollywood films or Indian films only.
  13. Yeah, that should be included. Just for China boxoffice. Dangal budget was $10mn Approx.

  17. these are your estimate or Universal official. I will like to know your estimate because I don't believe Universal when it comes to Asian markets with no tracking.
  18. Sorry. Initial cost was ₹0.05cr. The final cost was ₹0.5cr. So that's barely 5x. "Jai Santoshi Maa was made with a production budget of less than 3 lakh and was released on around 15 prints for a total of 5 lakhs cost at time of release. Eventually in time nearly 300 prints had to be taken out and the cost of the film went to 50 lakhs apprx. The print and promotions cost of this film was eventually more than 15 times of the production budget." P&A cost was insane back then. Today 300 prints would cost at max ₹0.5cr and thats after 44 years of inflation. ₹45 lakh today will be ₹70k in 1975.
