    In spyverse? Probably not. I actually had this idea that instead of casting Salman, Hrithik & SRK, if they casted Salman, Vijay from Tamil films and Mahesh/Ram Charan from Telugu films, that would probably beat Baahubali 2. Now the 3 have basically same audience set but the synergy benefit from Bollywood+Tamil+Telugu market would be a lot lot higher. And financially would make sense since the two cost less than SRK & HR.

    This is the language map of India. North & South. Most of the film cater to one of two. Baahubali was first to breakout in both and realise true potential of India.

    ER bad. With $1~₹70 could have reached $85-90M or 2017 ER of ₹64 possibly $100M.

    Those two were Pan India films appealing to both South & North. Pathaan is just Hindi film with limited bizz in South India. Pathaan will become highest grossing Bollywood film. Imagine East Coast spoke French & West English. A French film may be biggest grosser in East (say that's Pathan) while an Avengers does big enough in both to become bigger at US level.
