Most well developed cast intrigues me more, which suggests the movie is probably less buddy comedy than it lets on.
It might actually give IT a run for its money.
For me, Infinity War felt like it had to do more than it had to, thus plenty of character stuff kind of feel like we're just now getting bombarded with this. I would have followed up The Avengers with GOTG (story centered more around Thanos & his daughters) or TWS. Also, have Ant-Man proceed not precede TA. Civil War would then be pushed up in phase 2 and then either do Thor Ragnarok or Vol 2.
Thanks and yes, I know. It's pretty much the same on other movie forums.
Just corroborating with reporting press rather than totally legit leakers.
According to movieinsider, The Eternals is currently under production and Black Widow is still waiting to be greenlit.
AoU was announced "in development" right after The Avengers. IW & a slate of other movies were announced before AoU came out. Like with every studio, there's definitely more "in development" films on some desk somewhere that we know nothing about.
I seriously doubt they'll hold off saying when A5 will come out until after the time it takes for them to make one, which I understand as being well...industry tentpole standard.
That was also quite literally a movie where he doesn't become Venom until 40 min-an hour into it. Plus, the full body "suit up" setpieces occur sparsely between plenty of Tom Hardy with some black goop here & there.
