I agree, and it also just makes sense. So many people know his identity and he is so loose with it, like when he had no mask on on the bridge. Or when Happy said he is in love with Spider-Man’s aunt. It will start to get ridiculous if all of these things happen and no one figure it out. Plus all his villains and those ex-Stark employees knew. Unless they do some Mephisto bullshit this is now the status quo imo.

Yeah hopefully tomorrow being like a Friday + no discount + superb word of mouth gets a great drop. Maybe $35 million instead of Charlie’s projected $30 million or something like that. I must admit, while a great number no matter what, I am a little disappointed. But there are paths going forward to still reach $200M+ 6-day, and honestly it’s doing $185M+ which is still great. My fault really for getting overhyped over early projections today.

I just googled Endgame, and I really wonder what these dumbass outlets are going to say when it passes Avatar. Look at the Verge and their article about Marvel fans coming to terms about not beating Avatar. A lot of outlets are doing it, and you know they will put some spin on it when it does pass Avatar.

It losing only 40 theaters this weekend makes that $4 million projection very likely. Maybe it could even go higher because of Far From Home.

It’s time for Spidey to be at the level he was with the Raimi films! I really want to see this outgross Black Panther. Awesome film, but it feels so right for Spider-Man to be the top grossing solo film.

So excited to see this in around 7 hours! Now I need to get the hell to bed... Glad to see Rotten Tomatoes critic score went up, and the audience score is ridiculously strong. LMAO at that $125 million 6-day. If WOM remains this strong, double that is quite achievable imo. Not easy, but doable. I’m thinking $200 million+ 6-day at least now. Just like with Endgame, the stars have aligned for this to be a monster.

It’s weird how much the trend has reversed from yesterday. We went from thinking it was still 50/50, drag out until Labor Day. Now most seem to be confident it will do it and do so within the next month or so. It makes sense why that happened with the insane actuals increase and what that Sunday hold indicates for the Endgame/Far From Home duo, but still.

So with Movie Tickets and Pulse gone, do we just have our own theaters for tracking information? That sucks, though at least we’ll be a bit more surprised, I guess.

It was out of domestic theaters, out of most foreign theaters, and is branded as a totally new version of the core film. It is even counted separately and then added in unlike Endgame’s new version, which is considered totally apart of the original run. I think Endgame may be re-releasing in some countries it left, so you have that point. But it is still in theaters in many countries, and was still in many theaters domestically as well. The biggest difference to me is that Avatar’s is called the Special Edition and changes the film. Endgame’s is not rebranded or anything, and just basically adds some bonuses after all of the credits. It’s more of an expansion+ than a re-release.

It is no mistake that the public turns on him right after Tony dies; he no longer has any close and powerful allies to aid him and his image in crisis. This is where we will truly see him become Spider-Man, I think. Everyone has their identity exposed. His real problem is all of his villains know now, and he has a tendency to leave them alive unlike most other supers. Even Mysterio is probably not dead. The Sinister Six are going to bite him in the ass, and I can’t wait for it! A properly done Sinister Six will be one of the coolest things we get out of the MCU. And that very well may be just the beginning for Spider-Man, he may end up facing all of them in high school. Maybe Norman Osborn will be the threat after that. Or perhaps he assembles the Sinister Six.
