Lie. Endgame was in making since Civil war. Time spenz making A2 was partially spent on other sequels as well - for A3 all production, for others story development edit: also didn’t Jim make some documentaries in between?

I would take movies released month before the movie in question until 6th month after

Still wrong. Avatar was going against Alice in wonderland and even partly against Toy story 3. There was no overlap with some of the 2009 movies

Why are you using IW as one of the ten movies? Also most of Avatar’s run was in 2010, likewise 1998 for Titanic.

Without MCU the global bo would be 12% less

I still don’t understand how Wolf warrior 2 or Wandering earth are proof of increase in global bo. Take out chinese films and MCU and global bo is stagnant

Global box office stayed the same, it’s just that MCU and chinese local films added to that global box office

You are putting a narrative that Avatar released now would gross 40% more and I am refusing that argument because Avatar wouldn't get any of the MCU money and any of the local chinese money. Ergo generally market didn't rise, it was just enriched by two new major parts.

@NCsoft - of those $42B at least $5B is MCU and another $9B is China, of which something like 2/3 are local films, so yours $42B become $31B. I see no 42% boost there, sorry
