(Montreal area though literally only has 4 theatres in the area, and only 2 are pre-sales right now).

The funny thing about Argylle is we saw a teaser of this in 2023 in front of some movie and we thought "hey that looks pretty cool" and then it just kind of went quiet, and Im seeing the odd trailer here and there, but if it hadnt been for that teaser I probably wouldnt have known it existed-so yes from where I am in Canada kind of surprising at the lack of real promotion.

With ISS the only way I even knew it was a thing at all was when I went to the website to check for movies and I was like "Oh okay", Ive seen next to no build for it at all (at least in my experience cant speak for others)

Right so Canada ISS.....ummmm A certain theatre chain just now dropped SOME sales this close to opening. For only a few more theatres. Some are Thursday, some are Friday-but the thing they have in common-its a wasteland. Whether Canadian fans just arent for it, whether its the theatres just not putting any real interest (a lot of just REGULAR screens, not much prestige format). Its pointless I think for me to try this when its not filing at like T-2/T-1. There are a few movies on the Horizon like Argyle-but they have the infamous "coming soon" description. Any other Canadian trackers finding similar-maybe you're getting more life out there away from the big city theatres?

Was going to take a shot at ISS but very little theatres in Canada even having presales right now, so I might wait a bit.

Thats interesting they are doing that. Id be very interested to see if they see people buying the cheap tickets they modify the deal to state only certain prices/show times. That point about the points and ticket revenue is a good one. I mean say it even splits even and the 3 tickets work out to close to 50, they're giving that money back in the points. Id be interested in revenue related verbiage for tax stuff if that 50 dollars is able to be written off in a way while still making the money-depends on what the whole tax thing of points and money value is. that's probably a pretty fun can of worms lol
