  1. Except Frozen has been everywhere since 2013. You can't exit the house without seeing some little kid with Frozen merch. Anyways I'm not saying that I'm right. It's all based on a subjective feeling.
  2. Is it though? I mean it was a cute movie but that's about it . I might be wrong but I just haven't seen Zootopia mentioned anywhere for years now.
  3. Does anyone have nostalgia for Shrek? It feels like a product of it's time. Not something that's beloved like a classic Disney movie.
  4. Glad to hear that I'm not the only one that feels this way. I never watched it as a kid so I don't have any nostalgia for it. I'll still probably finish it. Good thing you told me about Spider-man lol - that was next on my watch list. Guess I'll skip it and go straight to Batman. Isn't Batman: The Animated series better?
  5. Watched X-Men animated series season 1 on Disney+ for the first time.. It's not as amazing as people claim. A lot of characters backstory are left untold (magneto, juggernaut, prof x etc) and they don't do a good job explaining their different powers. Perhaps season 2 will improve.
  6. In some countries in Europe? Sure.. Other than that - hell no. It's not even close to the level of LOTR. It's an insulting comparison.
  7. Not really. Black Panther - a more acclaimed movie than the taxi driver rip-off Joker - was was nominated for all major awards and they still kept mentioning the sequel (even during their SAG acceptance speech). Also LOL at comparing Joker a measly 1 billion grosser to the global event that was LOTR.
  8. read: they are pretending that there will be no sequels until the oscars are done.
  9. it is worth noting that after all these weeks, Lion King is still the biggest film starring LIONS of all time.
  10. you're surprised that a major studio is developing a sequel for a movie that profited more than infinity war? LMAO.
  11. Co-financing 50% was a stupid movie. It's budget was minimal. There was no way it was going to lose money.
  12. They are so stupid lol. But it's not surprising coming from the studio that tanked Harry Potter and DC.
  13. They co-financed the movie (what a dumb decision) and will be getting only 50% of the earnings. Todd Phillips getting 100 million - so that leaves even less money for WB. I read that they'll finance all of the awards campaigning as well - which will be costly.
  14. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/joker-sequel-works-as-todd-phillips-eyes-more-dc-origin-movies-1256255 Todd Phillips getting 100 million for the Joker. LOL Warner Bombs really fails even when they succeed. They could have earned so much more had they been smarter.
