  1. The previous BW comp was the second day of sales, which was T-26. I just decided to go straight to T-X comps for Eternals and BW

  5. Yeah it's a bit weird, but Eternals presales didn't start off as frontloaded. Its Thurs+Fri was 3.58x Sat+Sun, meanwhile NWH was 5.13x and Batman is 4.90x. Which I think makes sense considering people wouldn't be as worried about seeing Eternals ASAP as they would for Spider-Man or Batman.

Given the nature of Drafthouse, I think a stronger comp against NWH is expected. There tends to be more of a rush to get tickets

  12. We just need Jeff Bezos to become obsessed with the games and he’ll throw as much money at the series as it needs
  13. The Batman Tuesday Showings(25 hours) Denver: 832(+173) sold in 4 theaters Megaplex: 1780(+506) sold in 4 theaters Still strong as expected. The first day outpaced Black Widow in both areas. Megaplex looks very strong. But let's see how much this will deflate the first day of sales for the Wednesday/Thursday slates.
  14. I seemed to like the episode more than most SW fans going by the reactions on Reddit, but it wasn’t anything amazing. It was a fun episode, but kinda underwhelming especially for the season finale. Part of that was the disjointed nature and differing directions in the show that made the buildup to this pretty weak. I enjoyed the series for the most part, but I’m very ready to see Favreau-less shows to say the least.
  15. I believe the super high Tuesday prices are only for AMC. Regal, Cinemark, and Megaplex are all normal from what I’ve looked at besides some blockbuster surcharges
  16. The Batman Tuesday Showings(6 hours) Denver: 659 tickets sold in 4 theaters Megaplex: 1274 tickets sold in 4 theaters Denver has surpassed Black Widow's first 7 hours, which was 598 tickets sold. Megaplex is already close to Black Widow's T-22's 1519 tickets sold, which was like 5 days of sales.
  17. Not only are there early access Tuesday showings, but they go on sale earlier too That’s annoying
  18. That’s there for text to speech for visually impaired people. They do it on other tweets too
