I'm gonna predict a big opening for this. Maybe $40m+.

Just saw an ad for Lost City on P+... I kinda doubt it'll have that much an effect since not a lot of people have P+ but would suck if barely misses $100m
-
Mmm I don't really see a less than 2.2x happening? Or am I missing something

$58.75m Saturday from Deadline's 10pm update.

I doubt it'll have that bad a multiplier but DS below The Batman would be utterly hilarious.

If you're already going to see it a second time since Thursday and you already had problems with it, then I'd say your devotion to Disney+/Marvel already owns your wallet above any concerns about film quality.
I think No Way Home was a real mixed bag, too...so I only went to see it once. But that's me.
Uhhh that's nice? I see a lot of blockbusters multiple times since I have A-List and I see movies with different people. Nothing wrong with me saying I have problems with it.

Small PTA drop from last Friday for Everything Everywhere. So happy with its run.
I think Multiverse of Madness is an easier watch the 2nd time around but I still have problems with it. Unfortunately I think I'd place it on the lower tier of my MCU ranking. It's just bizarre because with a better script this really could've been top tier.

So was that rumor of Tom Cruise being a Tony variant never true? I honestly think that would've been really cool. Think the illuminati scene could've used at least one more variant of an original Avenger.

Expecting this to have Civil War legs, around 2.3 multiplier.

Wanda's storyline kinda gave me Dany from GoT final season vibes... like I think the progression from Wandavision can make sense but it just felt off in this movie
I was disappointed with the movie tbh. Need to process it more and I've previously planned to see it again so hopefully my opinion isn't worse.
The mid credits scene... zzz not Eternals having better post credit scenes.

The horror aspect is getting me more excited and I'm not even a big horror guy lol. Kinda nervous about what I'll think of Wanda's arc but excited!

Looks pretty stellar, can't wait.

IMAX starting Friday
Nice, third viewing here I come!

Welp. Long live theatrical windows. It made $360m+ domestic and still outdid almost every 2021 film. Last year really was one for the books on what not to do.
-
Elsewhere on Thursday night: A24’s Everything Everywhere All at Once made an estimated $873K in third at 2,220 taking its four-week running total to $21.4M.
This is having really impressive weekdays. If everything goes right this may have a long run.

Looks like I'm gonna see this in 35mm at Tarantino's theater in LA opening night stooooooked

Whaaaat
Maybe they want to finish both parts first to make sure they fit together idk. That sucks though.

Worst scene of the franchise, lol. Just embarrassingly awful.
... why? It was a cute scene of them comforting each other lol if anything it's one of the most endearing scenes in all the films

The main problem with the Fantastic Beasts movie are the scripts. If they hire someone who could come up with a intriguing plot with good character development then yes pls.
-
I think they should make one final film. This film could be the last as there wasn't really a cliffhanger but it'd be embarassing not to get to the actual duel.
