The most expensive film produced in Japan can be in the range around 6B yen (when they said this, they mentioned the previous most expensive film produced in Japan was 5B yen). 56M dollars = 8B yen This film didn't get much marketing in Japan so saying it started to get profit with 8B yen does make sense. Currently, the film has 115M dollars worldwide =16.5B yen Not including China, it is expected to finish around 140M-150M dollars = 20B+ yen
