pretty sure they havent decided if they want this movie + bumblebee to be in the same continuity as the bay movies, so I guess that's a way to leave the door open

pretty much my opinon, though im a bit meaner and just say 4/10 but considering what we ended up getting, i'd rather they had not tried with the human characters outside of the first half of 2, shia is a more entertaining protagonist

so comparable to Oppenheimer's 5th weekend seems ok wonder if it'll have legs or not

the mid-credit scene is seriously awesome, without thinking too much about it, probably the best I've seen and adds a whole extra point to my rating so nice to see a mid-credit scene that cares about nothing else than making you smile, not just a throwaway joke, but a sweet and joyous epilogue to send you home think I might prefer 3 to 1 after all, even if Fox is sorely missed (mostly by virtue of actually being an actress) whole first min of that video I'm sure I'll end up regretting, but since I had a blast rewatching the trilogy, I'll rewatch 4 and watch 5 for the first time

saw 3 as well sad about the lack of imax scenes a bit slow at first, but what do you know, still fun set pieces are pretty nice and the post-credit scene is a pretty awesome way to end the trilogy (neurotic jewish FBI agent kissing Frances and cracking some pretty sweet jokes) 2>3=1 my ranking of the trilogy all perfectly adequate movies; only 2 is fundamentally broken but it makes up for it by being bonkers (and those imax scenes) glad to see that adult me still got some good fun out of this trilogy saw the first in theaters, 16 years ago, probably one of the first movies I remember seeing in theaters (bumblebee peeing on the funny neurotic jewish guy still lives rent-free in my head) Considering that some people consider these movies absolute trash, I have no choice but to become defender of them; I feel like anyone who comes in with an open mind should be able to have a good time with the trilogy I remember thinking 4 was a bit meh and have never seen 5, will do research on them before deciding if I'm to watch them or not

Also saw 2 the imax scenes were great a worse movie, very contrived and weirdly edited at times, but its more fun so I like it more laughed at the scene where Megan Fox said only she could ever been Sam's girlfriend

rewatched it yesterday flawed but fun and isn't filled with baffling decisions

pretty good big step up from the first one which I found kinda meh manages to combine the different tones in a much more natural way The movie thinks it and miles are much cooler than they actually are, which can get annoying, drama is undermined by that surprisingly endearing and fun all the way through

saw it at 2.2x speed but it was enjoyable definitely underwritten though

hope the delay allows them to sneak in a special edition, an imax somewhat close to me opened back in april
