Seen the film at the cinema last night, truly awful.I'm not spoiling anything, but what a cinematic cop-out towards the end.And don't get me started on the BABY WITH THE CGI'D FACE!!!Yes, yes. A baby. with a CGI'd. Face.
I honestly don't think I have. Especially the last film.Holy jesus christ.I just love the fact that Kristen know's how dumb the films are. As proven with her laughing about the films plot and events on Graham Norton Show in July here in the UK.I guess if I laugh out loud in the cinema, 12 year old girls are going to throw things at me.
I'm being forced to go to a preview of Twilight.I havent seen any of them in the cinemas. The first one was alright, but the sequels were shockingly bad. Some of the worst acting and writing I have ever witnessed.
Great Saturday bumps for Wreck-It Ralph and Flight, which I still have no idea about. I have to search for the trailer.Haven't been interested in a Denzel film since Man On Fire, which I thought was excellent.
I disagree, If they wanted to build up and they knew WOM would be great, they would have released it in a much lower count.1,900 seems to me that they weren't sure if it was A) Good enough to rely solely on WOM and expand throughout the season and They didn't think it would do well enough for 3,000 release.I think it was possible damage limitation, but now it's paid off.1,900 never screams confidence. 190 would have.
Great for Ralph (which is the first and only animation film that actually looks interesting outside of Toy Story, IMO.)And also excellent for Flight. I know it's a Washington movie, but thats about it. I haven't seen a trailer, plot or poster.TMWTIF had a decent opening considering it looks absolutely, totally, completely, insanely god-awful.Nikki got PA4's total wrong.
It's in total over-saturation here btw, I seen a tv spot, an advert for Adele's song and a James Bond Laptop advert all in a row last night.I'm sick of the sight of the film. Guess that's because I couldn't give a flying.......fiddle about it.
$91M in ten days is still nothing to sniff at.Even with $5m Budget, with $30M p&a DOM and $30M p&a INTL, it'll still make a profit from cinema run alone. No surprises that PA5 is already greenlit!
Whoever said PA4 opening to $30m is worse than Expendables 2 doing less than first film OW is a moron. Think it was This Is Ed or something.I don't see Expendables 3 opening to $52.6m nevermind Expendables 4 opening to $30m. So be gone.
Nikki said Paranormal Activity 4 is set for a $60m WW weekend. That still isn't bad. But it's a huge drop from 3, which was received well.I still havent seen the film, whereas I rushed out to the first 3 on opening night. I think thats the general reason why it's underperforming- franchise fatique and the trailer was the weakest of all of the films.
