So the Thu to Fri/Sat ratios are inflated. A like comparison is probably something like 595/630/550.

  12. Indiana Valentine's Day T-11 MOVIE TC SALES SEATS SHOWS Bob Marley 22 865 14436 88 Madame Web 23 459 22072 112 Been working on expanding my tracking. This covers about 30 theaters in the state. Will be awhile before I have comps, but here's how the two Valentine's Day openers are doing.
  13. Friday T-0 Showtimes - 137 Seats sold - 1526 New sales - 423 (+38.3%) Comps 0.81x Marvels T-0 = $12.2m 0.60x HG BoSS T-0 = $8.0m 0.46x FNaF T-0 = $13.4m 0.26x Eras T-0 = $8.9m / $4.9m ATP adjusted Avg = $9.6m --- Average is $11.2m without Eras. Def looks like it can do $10m+ true Friday, we'll see.
  14. Depends person to person. Friday is harder to track cause there are so many more shows, and like Vafrow said you can get a good idea of the weekend from the preview number. Friday sales look really good in the chain I track too.
  15. Wonka T-0 Coverage - 10/33 Malco theaters Showtimes - 33 Seats sold - 415 Seats available - 5765 New sales - 66 (+18.9%) Comps 0.43x Marvels T-0 = $2.9m 0.44x HG BoSS T-0 = $2.5m 1.21x Eras Thu T-0 = $3.4m / $1.9m ATP adjusted (-45%) 0.67x FNaF T-0 = $7.0m Avg = $3.6m --- Throwing every comp I have at this brings my #'s in line with the consensus. But growth has looked meh to me and an outlier is doing the lifting so I'll go with 3.2m +/- 0.3m for previews. Friday is at 1103 seats sold and +13.3% growth from yesterday. The comps I have are showing $11m+. Let's see.
  16. Wonka T-1 Coverage - 10/33 Malco theaters Showtimes - 33 Seats sold - 349 Seats available - 5765 New sales - 42 (+13.7%) Comps 0.44x Marvels T-1 = $2.90m 0.46x HG BoSS T-1 = $2.67m Avg = $2.8m Friday T-2 Showtimes - 137 Seats sold - 973 Comps 0.78x Marvels T-2 = $11.6m 0.97x HG BoSS T-2 = $12.9m Avg = $12.3m --- Previews sales have been bad here but Friday is bangin. Looks like $14m+ Thu/Fri to me.
  17. Wonka T-2 Coverage - 10/33 Malco theaters Showtimes - 33 Seats sold - 307 Seats available - 5765 New sales - 14 (+4.7%) Comps 0.438x Marvels T-2 = $2.89m 0.447x HG BoSS T-2 = $2.57m --- Very bad day at this stage. The good news is Friday sales look strong. Friday tickets were only on sale at 5 of the theaters when I checked this morning and it was at 435 seats sold.
  18. Wonka T-3 Coverage - 10/33 Malco theaters Showtimes - 33 Seats sold - 293 Seats available - 5765 New sales - 24 (+8.9%) Comps 0.475x Marvels T-3 = $3.14m 0.503x HG BoSS T-3 = $2.89m --- Showing a little more life here.
  19. Wonka T-4 Coverage - 10/33 Malco theaters Showtimes - 33 Seats sold - 269 Seats available - 5765 New sales - 11 (+4.2%) Comps 0.460x Marvels T-4 = $3.06m 0.525x HG BoSS T-4 = $3.02m
  20. Wonka T-5 Coverage - 10/33 Malco theaters Showtimes - 33 Seats sold - 558 Seats available - 5765 New sales - 4 (+0.7%) Comps 0.464x Marvels T-5 = $3.06m 0.541x HG BoSS T-5 = $3.11m --- Yeah this looks dead here. Could be looking at sub-$3m previews.
  21. Wonka T-6 Coverage - 10/33 Malco theaters Showtimes - 33 Seats sold - 254 Seats available - 5765 New sales - N/A Comps 0.470x Marvels T-6 = $3.1m 0.572x HG BoSS T-6 = $3.29m --- Messed up the HG comp and the seat count yesterday. Lost 2 seats from yesterday's count... oof.
  22. Wonka T-7 Coverage - 10/33 Malco theaters Showtimes - 33 Seats sold - 242 Seats available - 5765 Comps 0.497x Marvels T-7 = $3.28m 0.624x HG BoSS T-7 = $6.37m Avg = $4.82m --- Think the HG comp is over-shooting so I'd guess ~$3.5m previews for now.
  23. Would like to start tracking Wonka and Aquaman 2 but there aren't many shows for sale yet at Malco. Looked at Renaissance yesterday and Eras comps gave ~$5.5m previews. Gonna be very, very frontloaded if the weekend projections are correct.
  24. Yeah, the music is what sold me too. I’m a sucker for alt-country. The melody from that one comes from an old Irish folk song, Brenden Gleason sings it in Ballad of Buster Scruggs. It’s also used in an old cowboy ballad, Streets of Loredo. Amazing how a tune gets passed down generation to generation.
  25. Only eyeballed a few theaters but Napoleon sales look good near me today. Noon shows are 40-50% sold out.
