  1. Second part is happening even if this one makes only $600m Keep in mind $600m would be a success on a $200m budget Third part will happen if this one makes over $800m
  2. Wouldn't be surprised if it opens below Transformers. There isn't interest for original animation post-pandemic besides Disney Princesses. Also the animation looks cheaper than usual for Pixar. Releasing it right after Spider-Verse is a big ??? And alongside Flash???
  3. I think its because BATB was a cinematic event for women and had Emma Watson in her first big role since HP On home Video, the OG BATB and Aladdin made pretty much the same
  4. They should've brought back Christian Bale for increased nostalgia, if DC really wanted this to be their No Way Home. I'm not sure Keaton has the same pull among Gen Z as Bale does.
  5. This movie is a bomb waiting to happen. Even good reviews won't be able to save it. It will make less than Lightyear at it's current date. Pretty much no parents are going to take their child to TLM, Across The Spider-Verse, and Elemental in the span of 4 weeks. They'll choose one, if not two of those two. Not to mention CBMs like the Flash and Guardians are also popular with kids. It should be moved to the last weekend of July (Haunted Mansion goes to October) or August. Maybe then it will not be a complete flop.
  6. Spider-Verse is being overestimated tbh. The first one only made 380m. I could see this new one being a little higher if WOM is on par with the first, but it could be lower due to multiverse fatigue and extremely heavy and direct-genre competition (Elemental, TLM, etc.) It's not winning the summer though. Flash, MI:DR, and IJ are more likely.
  7. I wouldn't be surprised if this remake underperforms because audiences have been conditioned to watch Disney stuff on Disney+.
