The only Emmerich films I dislike are 10,000 BC and White House Down. I like to love all of his other works. -
My four favorite movies of last year are The Witch, Batman VS Superman, Independence Day Resurgence, and Arrival. People ask me how can I love "great" movies and "bad" movies.

Man this movie was really disappointing, maybe it should have focused more on jokes than philosophy. I LOVE crude humor, but this movies humor was bland and offensive for offensives sake. -

Because it was much more original than just another Alien movie. A smart sci fi space series is more needed than another horror/action fest. What I would love for FOX to do would be to have Alien 5 go ahead, with Ripley going after the Engineers and the company in a big finale, but I doubt that will ever happen.

Ugh, Ridley was right before. The Alien is dead, FOX should have continued The Prometheus storyline and made it grander/ actually answered questions. I'm sure he's going to be putting this into FOX's face.
