I gave it a B, it was a bit overdrawn with the whole moping Hermione bit, but once that got out of the way, it picked up. But, I just can't help but feel that these last two movies would have been better in a better director's hands.
While the book was great, I just thought this installment was lacking something. I gave it a C because it still had it's moments (loved the introduction to the Weasley home) but it was dragged down a bit.
I gave it an A. I really hadn't a clue what Harry Potter was, so decided to pick it up on DVD for my little cousins who seemed to be in it, and I just thought the story, the kids, the atmosphere, all was done wonderful. It truly was a magical movie that jump started it all.
I gave it a B. I thought the book itself was a little too long, and went on and on about nothing, but the movie was made into a very clever little package.
I loved the kids and their story, but the whole alien thing kind of felt disjointed. I gave it a B though, because those kids were great in it, and made up for the bs alien side story.
I gave it a B. Fantastic performances from Ledger and Eckhart, I loved their characters and THEIR stories. But, I can't stand Bale as Batman, I think he's horrible, and I could do without the crappy love story. The best comic book movie in my opinion, was The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles back in 1990.
