  1. Awe, no love for True Lies? Come on, the Harrier scene is totally WOW!
  2. Actually, Terminator shouldn't have continued after this one, T3 I thought was terrible. I didn't even bother with T4.
  3. Michelle William is my favorite to win.
  4. The Apes have the best special effects, hands down. I hope they win. If not, then Transformers. The detail in Transformers is absolutely amazing.
  5. For starters, oscars are a joke, have been for a long time. But even then, Harry Potter is popular, as is the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, but they are not really quality movies, not enough to be contenders for an oscar pic. But then again, they did nominate Avatar. Like I said, oscars are a joke.
  6. After watching the Casey Anthony trial, me thinks the little girl is better off with the elderly couple. I can just see it now, the mother brings home some dead beat, and beats the kid because she's being a kid.
  7. I'm just going to say, I'm not sure why, but the gang of kids in this movie kind of remind me of the gang in South Park. The kid who got his tongue stuck to the pole would definitely have to be Cartman.
  8. I watch it all of the time, and on DVD. The TV cuts too much out. Fans of the movie, don't you all just crack up when Hooper was steering the boat after getting chewed out by Quint, quoting "I can't take this abuse much longer!" LMFAO!
  9. I give this an A just for the wacky characters (Randy and Dewey were my favorites, with Stew close behind) This movie is like half horror, half comedy. I still get get a smile on my face when Tatum was mimiking Sid "I'll send you a copy, bam, bitch went down! Sid, superbitch!" Oh, the good ole times!
  10. That's my favorite part in the whole movie, the look on his face was priceless! I loved this movie, it was fun and totally lol at times.
  11. This decade has been missing the good ole fashion teen bonding films that were so rapant in the 80's and 90's. I loved them, and it's one of the reasons Super 8 is so high on my list.
  12. It's a beautiful movie, and I have to admit, I never did see it on the big screen. That;s all going to change this upcoming April!
  13. Uh, it's a guilty pleasure, and does everything it intended to do. Loved the fight with the midget!
  14. Yep, best holiday movie ever. No matter how many times I watch it, the funny parts still have me rotflol! I stil couldn't pick my favorite scene, maybe when Ralphie says "fudge".
  15. Very good movie, I give it a B, but from a personal point of view, I disliked the ending. I just thought the guy was after the glory of finding the lost little girl, not thinking about the little girl's best interest.
  16. As a war movie, not very good. So many things had me rolling my eyes. But, as a character study, excellent suspenseful moments and some very awesome shots, this movie gets a solid B. The acting from Renner is the Ace in the hole. I always had an eye on him since Dahmer, and I'm glad the bigger players are finally noticing his wonderful gift! Granted, I loved his Gem character in The Town more.
  17. What about Dahmer, 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and their sequels, Adventures in Babysitting, License to Drive, Kuffs, Pump up the Volume, Legend and The Neverending Story?
  18. Love it! Love it! Love it! I had come to this void in my theatrical going life where I just didn't find anything appealing to get worked up about going to see it at the theater. Last time I was amped up would have been ROTK.Transformers brought my ass back to the movie seats again, and I have become a fan since then. Favorite part, I still cry laughing at the "Sam's Back Yard" scene, some of the best comedic moments in a long while!
  19. Absolutely fantastic! And I still think the T-1000 is one of the greatest villains ever to be seen on screen! There is just something about a villain that simply cannot be bartered with or reasoned with!
  20. Same here. And I hated how all the women were portrayed as sluts in this. What a disgrace.
  21. I'd rather see him team up with Martin Lawrence in Bad Boys 3 (these are my favorite Michael Bay movies, totally fun and extremely OTT, but who cares when you're having this much fun)
  22. That's because you're both complete idiots! ET is the best children's movie of all time, ALL TIME. Second would be The Wizard of Oz!
  23. Uh, the legacy is that it's probably the best shark movie out there, despite the shark hardly shown, and it's gotta be in the top 5 of the best horror movie of all time. I still see it and get chills when the girl is getting attacked during her nude swim, when the elderly man who got washed out to the sea was trying to beat the dock chasing to him, and then there is what happened to Quint! That is one of the most disturbing scenes ever filmed, and to me, it's even more because I really got into his discussion earlier about what happened to him and his men when their ship went down while in the Navy. It was quiet momet while he was telling his story, but still. I still love his discritption of a shark's eyes, how they are lifeless, like a doll's eyes. It's like the epitome of true terror, dealing with something that truly has no remorse! And then, the most epic of Jaws, part of it's infamous legacy, is it's theme song! And to think, Spielberg was only what, 27 years old when he was doing this masterpiece. Goodness gracious, the talent he had at such a young age! There are so many reasons why this movie is a bonefide classic!
  24. We were discussing this at work today, and one of the true incidents popped up, and I'm curious to what you all think was happening, Right after Kennedy is shot, Jackie o is seen reaching out of the back of the car, and there are three speculations going on. One, is that she's trying to reach for a part of her husband's brain that blew out, another was she was trying to bail, and then the last and most plausible, she was just trying to help the security trailing behind get into the car to help out.So, what do you all think happened?
  25. A.Kevin Spacey alone is worth the A. One of my top favorite actors, and it was a great ending.
