It's interesting that the over 50 males gave it an A ... I guess maybe they remember seeing Superman at his biggest in the 70's, early 80's with S:TM & S2 ...
+ the Walmart money ... so over 120-125
FUCK IT ... I went to the 7pm showing and would have gone to midnight ... it's 120-125 weekend. , if Iron Man 3 doesn't need an asterisk, neither should this.
I would hope you're joking or I'll be really annoyed, considering two minor things from a Superman standpoint ... including one thing that's obvious to anyone who's ever watched the trailer ...
... and on top of that, you've already posted in the review thread.
Well, I almost spoiled the movie ... forgot what thread I was in.
Regardless, I saw it with my brother and enjoyed it once again ... cried in one scene ... and I've always hated Lois, but Amy Adams was very good IMO as Lois.
Maybe I'll see it one more time in a few weeks before it leaves theaters.
who gives a fuck about BOM ... it will do about 120 ... it's not like people say IM 3 made 166 because likely 7 or 8 million probably came from 9pm showings.
WB will say 120 over weekend ... that's all anyone will give a shit about.
I think the word of mouth will be very good ... maybe not Avengers or TDK great, but very good. The general audience will be forgiving of any missteps in the middle of the film due to the insane visual display over the last hour IMO ... and the last 2 or 3 minutes which really worked for me.
Still, if it does 125, I think most likely destination is still under 340. Don't see 3x legs ... more like 2.7
I only briefly considered the idea of 400 last night when the chance of 140+ existed.
It would be a shame if a film made 174 million opening weekend and barely scraped by 400.
Oh shit, I'm a Potter fan and I basically jut buried one of my favorites considering it couldn't break out of the Passion, Sith, Spidey, Return of the King 380 ish area.
I'd like Brainiac, but I want Lex in the sequel ... just not as the MAIN villain ... need another one ... either Metallo or Braniac for that.
Darkseid for Justice League or World's Finest.
Nice A- CS ... I'll take that, did TDKR get an A- or A?
CS is interesting, but when Inception gets a B+ and does a near 5 multiplier in 2010, I lost some respect for it.
