  1. I see the features ... Disc 1 – Batman Begins Feature and Special FeaturesDisc 2 – The Dark Knight FeatureDisc 3 – The Dark Knight Special FeaturesDisc 4 – The Dark Knight Rises FeatureDisc 5 – The Dark Knight Rises Special FeaturesDisc 6 – Bonus Disc of New Special Features (details follow) “The Fire Rises: The Creation and Impact of The Dark Knight Trilogy” — The inside perspective on the fascinating story behind the creation of one of the most celebrated franchises and how it changed the scope of movie making… forever. Full of never-before-seen footage, rare moments, and exclusive interviews with Guillermo Del Toro, Damon Lindelof, Michael Mann, Richard Roeper, Zack Snyder, and others. “Christopher Nolan & Richard Donner: A Conversation” — For the first time, directors Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight Trilogy) and Richard Donner (Superman) sit down to discuss the trials and triumphs involved in bringing the two most iconic superheroes of all time to the big screen, and how Superman influenced Nolan when developing Batman Begins. Well, the rest of the discs are probably just identical to what we already have ... that Donner & Nolan conversation could be pretty awesome though ... along with the other trinkets it comes with. Red is always bringing up Donner and his influence on Nolan ... I suppose we'll see
  2. I can't believe it's already less than a year until Transformers 4 ... I've heard so little about it besides the actors and basic idea. Granted, I've only really enjoyed the first Transformers, so not exactly counting the days.
  3. Has The Lone Ranger theater count been listed in this thread yet ... because I see that's 3,904 ... lots of empty screens in those theaters IMO
  4. Nina Dobrev ... She's on The Vampire Diaries ... and was in Perks of Being a Wallflower.
  5. Yep ... highest ever are Eclipse and TDKR wise over 4,400 ... 4,000 sounds right for this release. Checking MOS ... I see that was over 4,200, just like Iron Man 3.
  6. When have we not got a fair share of garbage movies from Hollywood. The general public has proven time and time again that we're fully capable of funding such shit projects by going to theaters OVER and OVER for the dumbest shit imaginable. It's how Adam Sandler can still have a new film every year despite becoming worse and worse every time.
  7. We pick on movies that seem to be saying ... I'm Johnny Depp and I'm going to wear make up and be a Native American version of my Jack Sparrow persona ... and I'm going to make a shit load of money in doing so. Please help me out by paying for my salary.
  8. Ed's just prone to hyperbole and living in the moment ... yeah, it looks horrible ... but there's PLENTY of films that are similar in nature or worse.
  9. Well ... it's tough ... I take it one day at a time though. I have zero interest in seeing Finding Nemo (or Finding Dory in 2015) but I'll eventually check out TS3 and Monsters Inc/University. ... of course, I've already seen the amazing ending to TS3, so that aspect is sort of ruined.
  10. Good, that movie fucking rocks. BTW, I see Olympus Has Fallen is STILL in theaters, clawing closer to 100 million ... not going to make it, but damn ... it's going to destroy WHD. Never would have thought that 6 months ago.
  11. Are you a Barry Allen or Wally West Flash fan for a feature film? ... if you're a big fan either way.
  12. Then the question is ... when is Brad Bird going to get a shot at a live action superhero film ... ... and not some shitty superhero
  13. Off topic, but speaking of animation ... I haven't been paying attention ... but is Pixar ever going to give us The Incredibles 2 ... sequel to the best animated movie ever IMO. Incredibles, Ratatouille, Wall-E & Toy Story are my favorites from Pixar. Never seen Monsters Inc or Finding Nemo
  14. Sadly I haven't seen a Pixar film in theaters since Wall-E ... hell, I don't know if I've seen a Pixar film in general since Wall-E, not even Toy Story 3.
  15. Yeah, I have no issues with MOS not being included in Friday, but it's crazy how most films do ... even for 7pm showings. I know midnights aren't as big after last summer, but still ... 7pm Tuesday night ... is Tuesday.
  16. So Despicable Me has 7pm showings tonight ... for that Wednesday gross Unfortunately, I can't make it tonight ... some time this week I'll see it. Not so for Lone Ranger ... see you on HBO or Showtime.
  17. Wow, MOS is going to pass up WHD possibly even today ... great #s all around though otherwise, especially MU. I'm hoping both MOS & MU make it over 300 million. MOS will be close, MU depends on if it's legs get ripped apart starting tomorrow.
  18. Probably my 'favorite' movie of all time ... definitely top 10 for me overall. I could watch this film every day and not get bored because Bill Murray is so perfect in this film ... and Scarlett worked great off of him. If I was to visit one place outside the US, it would be Tokyo, simply for how surreal, yet serene, it comes across in this film. A+
  19. So WHD goes from a projected 9/23.5 to 11/33.5 ... um, okay, that makes no sense ... maybe 11/30.
  20. Oh that's right ... he might try to act for the first time in a while I'll check it out. Pfister better deliver
  21. So WHD is improving over the last 15 to 30 minutes since her last post Now up to 25.5 weekend ... must think looking around 10 million for today instead of 9.
