  1. I didn't say that. Disney pays to Deep a huge money and I don't see the point anymore. This franchise needs something fresh and Deep is tiring already.
  2. They should to do a test if PotC has success without Johnny deep in a spin off, if the movie shows up a good business, they should fire him of the main saga. I say this because I know they never will fire him with no proof.
  3. Isn't Wrinkle in time a reboot? Ps: I'll give my support to magic camp if it looks at least interesting. I want see it doing more original movies.
  4. I love Pirates of the Caribbean and while I understand that this franchise is getting tiresome, the universe is very extensive and has a lot of story to tell. I think Disney should test a spin off without Jhonny Deep (plus some original movies) and see what happens. I don't see the point in giving a giant salary to Deep anymore. His good times are over.
  5. I think it was the first comparision he found. PR's presales started 2 weeks before the release. WW's presales started 1 week before the release. It's implicit he means WW will do at least 7x at OW what PR did.
  6. Alien will end up with less than 9% of what Avatar did WW. Shit. What a big disappointment.
  7. I hope you are wrong with this one. It looks funny as hell. Would love see it doing $100M+.
  8. Really no. You need have a premium account (and to post anything) or to post something that many people here agrees/want. Quality doesn't matter after all. But is this a shade for me? I don't want likes. I want to understand why this forum seems so elitist. His prediction was made (he persisted) after the previews numbers came out. I bet you already knew that Alien wouldn't make $ 45M+ OW when the previews number came out. What's the point of highlighting a bad prediction just because it was made by someone who has contributed to the forum in the past? Bootlicker? Elitism? It's not about likes at all.
  9. I don't remember many of his contributions. Maybe some last year, I don't know. I just remember RTH's contributions. I'm not disrespecting anyone. I just wonder why this forum looks so elitist, it not even makes sense this time.
  10. These predictions that you're talking about I made BEFORE the release not AFTER the previews number came out. There's a huge difference. Alien: Covenant is a sequel of a movie that has an enormous fanbase, and it had previews starting at 8PM, and the movie doesn't seemed like it was having good WOM. It was obvious that it was going to be front-loaded on previews. Apart of this, I was right on my GOTG2 prediction, I don't know where you saw me being a troll: ~270m from current markets (I'm being optimistic) ~110m from China ~40m Japan + SK ~25m Russia ~35m others small markets ~= $480m http://forums.boxofficetheory.com/topic/23798-guardians-of-the-galaxy-ii-3838 m-overseas-●-6506-m-worldwide/?do=findComment&comment=2979399 I saw a lot of people here making realistic predictions based on comparisons after Aliens' previews numbers came out, but they didn't have not even 1/4 of the likes of what he had. Why???
  11. I love RTH, I've never seen someone with a premium account so humble as him.
  12. From deadline: (...)20th Century Fox’s Alien: Covenant, which fell 21% from Friday with $12M today. Alien: Covenant is still on top for the weekend with an estimated $36.1M(...) I think I deserve this premium account more than certain "Gods", lmfao. @nick64 @Johnny Tran @Blankments @That One Valerian @MCKillswitch123 @fmpro @FantasticBeasts @ProtoMan @stripe @DAJK @Eevin @Arlborn Seriously, guys, I don't care for this status, we're all equal and you should to stop being so bootlickers.
  13. Fassbender acted very well with a shit character IMO. Well, Fassbender's performance didn't make Alien be good imho. Sad.
  14. Who did you tell, dude? Did you tell to some group by INBOX? You just forgot to post here, so you could make that snob post and we give you likes for this "victory".
  15. Deadline about gotg2: ""Holds were good in many markets across Latin America and Europe including Finland (-27%), Denmark (-28%), Norway (-29%), Spain (-36%), Venezuela (-38%), Germany (-41%), Chile (-42%), Israel (-43%), Sweden (-43%), Belgium (-43%) and New Zealand (-43%)."" It means GotG2 had a 43%+ drop this weekend. Not even with Alien floping here, GotG2 had a good hold. WTF?!?!
  16. I just watched Alien: Covenant. Guys, I'm shocked. Now, they're releasing TV movies in cinemas? Full of plot holes, lack of development, it didn't even have scary scenes without using gore. I almost slept while watching it, since I didn't care to any of these characters. The only things saving this movie from a total disaster was some special effects and Fassbender's acting.
  17. Usual when is a movie with meh wom and there's a relevant competition. GotG2 had no relevant competition. Do you insist yet? You don't look following Brazillian's BO so many years...
  18. I also believe that A3 is going to surpass JL, I mean, Disney is so desperate, they're bringing Spider Teen, Guardians, Iron Man, Thor, Doctor Strange... It wouldn't surprise me if even Darth Vader shows up. Eh, A3 is going to surpass JL, actually, it would be a lot of shame if it fails to do this.
  19. Insurgent, a YA sci fi movie sequel with meh WOM, fell 44% against Cinderella, which opened at #1. GotG2, a ""family"" sci-fi movie sequel with ""great"" WOM, fell 44% against Rock dog, which had limited release and opened at #7. Do you really think this drop is normal?
  20. After 9 years and you keep making biased predictions based on your tastes?
  21. ???? I didn't understand the meaning of your post. Very weird. I hope you're not another fake of him.
