  1. Also! Because it would be biased if I see your answers but you don't see mine, I'll be posting my answers here. You guys can do the same or you can still PM them to me. It doesn't matter cause regardless I will be seeing all of your answers as I'm the score-keeper. But every time I've played the game before, I've never had bias allowing myself to win (although I usually do win somehow).
  2. Yes, Riczhang...everyone. You, CEDAR, Alfred, and Goffe. ...Doc no, though. He go bye-bye.
  3. The Legend Challenge - Round 3 Now the big reveal I've been waiting for. Every team this season had one Legend to represent them at some point. "The Earth Seekers" had DoctorWho, "The Equation Sensation" has Goffe, "The Destroyers of Evil" had Alfred, and of course, "The Shadowkillers" had the most. Every team had some Legend to help carry them through the most turbulent and trying games...every team, but one. "The Gold Seekers" have passed 10 weeks without a Legend to represent them, have entered 3 Challenges, and have survived without the backing of someone with a Power Chip. How could this have been allowed to happen, while each of the other teams had chips in play to help them get what they wanted? It's simple really. "The Gold Seekers" have a protector now...sort of. In a way, he represents them. But then again, he technically represents everyone. However, in this and other Legend Challenges, he will be acting in "The Gold Seekers'" favor, simply because they have no one else to enter these Challenges for them. This is a pleasant surprise, and "The Gold Seekers" should be elated to have this participant represent them in this week's Legend Challenge. ...it's The Creator. There will no bias here. Of course not. But The Creator will be representing "The Gold Seekers" in this week's Legend Challenge. If he wins, "The Gold Seekers" will reap benefits. If he loses, well, we'll get to that. But most of the Legends are exempt from this Challenge now that they've cashed in their chips. Right? ...wrong! This week, all the Legends will return to enter this Challenge. If they score higher than The Creator, they will receive certain benefits. If they score lower, they will receive certain punishments. But there are no exemptions. All must participate, and if you don't show up...you might face a terrible fate. Here is the Legend Challenge - Round 3: 1. Predict Monster University's and World War Z's combined Thursday gross 2. Predict the difference in per theater averages between World War Z and Man of Steel on Thursday 3. Predict This is the End's Thursday percent drop from last Thursday DEADLINE: FRIDAY, JUNE 28 AT 5:00 A.M. EASTERN
  4. Season 4, Game 11 "To Heaven and Beyond" DEADLINE: Friday, June 28 at 8:00 P.M. Eastern (7:00 P.M. Central) 1. Predict White House Down's Friday gross as a percentage of its 150 million dollar budget (e.g. 15 million would be 10%) 2. Predict the difference in opening weekend grosses between The Heat and Identity Theft (which opened to 34.55 million) 3. Predict the difference between Fast & Furious 6's total through the end of the weekend and Oz The Great and Powerful's total through the end of the weekend 4. Predict the difference in per theater average drops between Monsters University and World War Z (e.g. if MU drops 50% and WWZ drops 60%, your answer would be 10%) 5. Predict Man of Steel's gross through the end of the weekend as a percent of Iron Man 3's gross through the end of the weekend (e.g. 200 million would be 50% of 400 million)
  5. The Challenge - Week 10 The Shadowkillers thought they had it all figured out. By eliminating the player with the lowest number of points and by taking the one with the next lowest number of points for their own, they figured everyone else would buy multiple immunities, thus reducing their massive point counts (as there are players with point counts upwards of 40 points (and, in one case, 50+)). They thought the players would buy immunity after immunity until their point counts ran out. They were wrong. Only a select few of the participants decided to purchase immunities at all, deciding rather that they would enter this Challenge. Immunities were taken from each of the following for 9 points: Goffe, Jim Shorts, and Chasmmi. Two players within the rankings around these three players did not purchase immunity, so the two players entering The Challenge this week are... An unexpected match-up without a doubt. Who knows where this one will wind up? Here is their Challenge; 1. Predict Monsters University's Thursday per theater average 2. Predict World War Z's Thursday gross 3. Predict Man of Steel's Thursday percent drop from last Thursday DEADLINE: FRIDAY, JUNE 28 AT 5:00 A.M. EASTERN (4:00 A.M. CENTRAL)
  6. That is a brilliant idea. ...and it kind of plays into a concept I'm working on for Season 5.
  7. Yeah, as Goffe still possesses that chip for now. But this isn't even the most surprising thing to happen this week. On 24Lost, while it is harsh, I'm about 85% certain he would have been eliminated this week anyways as he would have likely been sent into The Challenge, and he doesn't have the time to answer the questions, or so it seems. So this way, at least 2 people will be eliminated this week.
  8. 4.10 "The Last That Could Be Done" (cont) CEDAR acquired Riczhang's power chip two weeks ago when he won the first Legend Challenge. This made CEDAR the deadliest player of them all, as this Legend Power Chip packs one hell of a punch. This week, CEDAR, enraged by the loss of his Shadowkiller companion of two seasons Acsc1312, continues his quest of revenge by enacting the greatest fatalities. He already wiped out Numbers and DoctorWho's point slates, but now he targets his enemies in a different way. Doc has escaped CEDAR's wrath by going into hiding for the next couple of weeks, but Numbers remains unsafe. Scorned by Numbers and DoctorWho, CEDAR is taking his aggression out in a most unexpected way. Below we finally reveal the darkest of the Legend Power Chips. Some of you may have guessed at it. Here. It. Is. Dun. dun dun dun... Who the hell saw that coming?

  10. 4.10 "The Last That Could Be Done" A New Legend Will Be Born We remain at a crossroads in the season, and the Top Ten is about to be determined. There are 11 players left...and more than one will be going home this week. Among those 11 players, only 3 retain Legend Power Chips. CEDAR used his own chip but now possesses his partner Riczhang's chip. Goffe still maintains a little of his point-collector chip and thus continues to absorb the points of the players who are eliminated each week. And DoctorWho, despite having used his chip to bring Numbers to his team, has now acquired Alfred's power chip. So three Legends left out of an original seven. But this week, another Legend will be revealed. It's coming soon. In the meanwhile, Alfred still has a shot to regain his Legend Chip, or to take another chip. He may venture again into the Legend Challenge to earn another Legend Power Chip, or he may face his elimination there. Doc made this bold move last week and came out a strong survivor...and the winner of that Challenge. Riczhang, too, may choose to return to the Legend Challenge and take another chip, but Riczhang is poised in a superior position to most of the other players: as a fellow "Shadowkiller", Riczhang is allied to the top dog Legend CEDAR, who still retains one more chip...which he'll be cashing out this week, most likely. Each team this season has had a Legend at some point other than "The Gold Seekers". But Jay and veteran ChD have done well for themselves over the course of the season, even without a Legend to back them. Their success shows that the Legends may not be all they're cracked up to be: they are not the sole winners of this game. Just because someone is not a Legend does not mean he cannot win this game. Even the newest players of the series are showing some tremendous skill that rivals some of the Legends: Chasmmi has stepped up to become one of the biggest players in the past couple weeks, even outperforming his own Legend teammate Alfred. In many ways, Chasmmi's strength about equals Alfred's, despite Alfred's greater experience in the game. And of course, Numbers proves to be the most impressive of the newcomers. Despite having just had all his points stripped from him, he has managed to be one of the top dogs all season long, leading "The Equation Sensation" to three consecutive victories. Numbers has been allied to two Legends this season: Goffe and DoctorWho. In both instances, Numbers has proven to be the better competitor in the pair. Should Legend status be granted to Numbers, he may rival CEDAR and could probably have taken on Totem if he had chosen to remain alive. Unfortunately, this episode is going to be a really trying one, as some unexpected eliminations and other events are about to go down. Before we get to any of that, though, let's take a glimpse at the scores this week: The Earth Shakers 24Lost: 91.95% +4 (+1 3rd team, +3 90%+) 4815162342: 93.74% +6 (+2 2nd individual, +1 3rd team, +3 90%+) DoctorWho: 90.16% +9 (+1 3rd team, +3 90%+, +5 won Legend Challenge 2) AVG: 91.95% +19 The Equation Sensation Goffe: 92.33% +10 (+3 90%+, +1 highest Question 3, +6 stole Schumacher's points) Jim Shorts: 85.25% +4 (+2 85%+, +1 highest Question 1, +1 highest Question 2) AVG: 88.79% +14 The Destroyers of Evil Alfred: 86.92% +2 (+2 85%+) Chasmmi: 91.13% +3 (+3 90%+) Spaghetti: 92.46% +4 (+3 90%+, +1 highest Question 5) AVG: 90.17% +9 The Gold Seekers ChD: 92.68% +12 (+2 2nd team, +3 90%+, +7 won Challenge 9) Jay Salahi: 93.19% +6 (+1 3rd individual, +2 2nd team, +3 90%+) AVG: 92.94% +18 The Shadowkillers CEDAR: 92.66% +15 (+3 1st team, +3 highest Legend, +3 90%+, +1 highest Question 4, +5 won Legend Challenge 1) Riczhang: 95.15% +13 (+5 1st individual, +3 1st team, +4 95%+, +1 highest Question 5) AVG: 93.91% +28 "The Shadowkillers" have finally won again. The team originally consisted of three Legends, but now it's down to one. Acsc was eliminated, and Riczhang had his Legend chip stolen the same week. But CEDAR possesses one more Legend Chip, and it's very deadly. CEDAR will use it this week, and all hell shall break loose. But another Legend wishes to cash in on his Legend chip now. Actually, it's not even his chip to begin with. DoctorWho already used his own Legend chip two weeks ago, but last week, he acquired a new Legend Chip from Alfred after defeating him in the Legend Challenge. Now, DoctorWho is ready to activate that power.
  11. This is the closest week of the season by far!
  12. Waaaaaaa! Where are the freaking actuals? I need to score before I go to work in an hour!
  13. List of Minor Characters (Season 3) BED005 Bed appeared in a cameo performance in the Season 3 semi-finale (“A War of Gods”). The final three players competed in three rounds of competitions against outside forces. In Round One, they competed against 4815162342, later star of Season 4. In the second round, the players who survived squared off against Bed005, who had never had experience in Box Office Alliance but was known for his performance in similar theme games, like Box Office Survivor. In the second Round, Bed defeated Baumer under extraneous circumstances, which were later reversed to show that Baumer actually defeated Bed005 by a technicality in the score reports. Bed lost in both versions to Riczhang, who was eliminated in the third round to host The Creator. Appearances: Season 3, episode 14 Status: Antagonist/Boss DRAGON Dragon was the player with the least amount of experience in the game at the start of Season 3. Before teams were assigned, Dragon was sent to The Challenge against seasonal regular Avatarfan, who dominated and sent Dragon to his early demise in the premiere episode of Season 3. Dragon never had a chance to rebuke and never ventured far enough into the game to earn any recognizable statistics or achievements for himself. Appearances: Season 3, episode 1 Known allies: None Seasonal rank: 19 GOPHER Gopher and ShawnMR earn special recognition in the game as the only special hosts to appear in a season's special edition. In the episodes “Guest Host Week” and “Another Kick in the Crotch”, Gopher appeared as a special co-host with ShawnMR while the regular host The Creator participated as a player in the game. In the first of the two-parter episode, Gopher took a backseat while Shawn performed most of the tasks, but Gopher came back around a week later in full force, choosing to eliminate the lowest scoring player and the one(s) with the least points after the slaughter that occurred from the competition that week. Gopher's brutality earned him a recognizable place in the game as a primary antagonist in the season, one who was dismissed from his authority prior to “The Hobbit Special” a week later. Gopher's most lasting impact was his games' use in determining the Top Ten candidates, as the players who scored lowest in Gopher's special session went into a Mega Challenge. In the Mega Challenge, star players CEDAR and XenoZodiac were eliminated. This tragically marked the last appearance of XenoZodiac in Box Office Alliance, and much of his disappearance had to do with Gopher's maliciousness in the brief stay he had as special guest host. Gopher's involvement has been met with mixed reception. Some glorified the two episodes he appeared in as the most exciting the series had to offer, with plenty of twists and turns and surprise eliminations abounding. Others saw it as a means of totalitarian rule, for Gopher had complete control and The Creator was absent from the ring, especially in the second week of the session when Gopher implemented harsh negative point losses and allowed a couple errors to let certain players skim by by mistake. However, Gopher was personally seen as a strong-willed individual, despite occasionally playing his hand too roughly. He has not yet ventured into the game as a player and likely never will after the disgraceful way he was cast aside at the end of the session. Appearances: Season 3, episodes 8-9 First mentioned: Season 3, episode 5 Status: Special Guest Host ICEROLL Iceroll gained early prominence in the season premiere as one of the four original members to be cast onto a team. At the start of the season, the players had to fight to select their teammates, and Iceroll gained an early upper hand, one that enabled him to pick Baumer as his partner on “Ice Ice Baumy”. The team was one of the first two teams to form at the start of Season 3, and it lasted through most of the first half of the season. Iceroll and Baumer worked well together, and the duo, both newbies, proved that rookie players can sometimes be the bigger stars in the game, especially as Iceroll helped Baumer bring out his inner victor. Iceroll was long outlasted by his partner Baumer, who made it to the season finale, but much of what Baumer gained was from his alliance with Iceroll, who was a devoted follower and friend for the first half of the season that the players were together. “Ice Ice Baumy” met a tragic end as the two teammates were chosen to enter a Challenge against each other. It was a close call, but Baumer just narrowly beat Iceroll, who was eliminated prior to the start of the Guest Host Weeks. The impact eliminating his partner had on Baumer was tremendous, as Baumer quickly became a very recognizable, and yet well liked, player in the game thereafter, seizing every opportunity to not only outlast others for himself, but also for Iceroll, the partner he had to turn on. Iceroll made a brief return in Season 4. In the season premiere, 4815162342 chose to make Iceroll immune after having earned immunity himself. This ensured Iceroll would be able to be cast onto a team within a week and would be exempt from the large Challenge at the start of the season. Iceroll became Numbers' first partner on “The Equation Sensation” - a team that would gain notoriety and fame of the next half of the season. However, a week later, Iceroll was sent to The Challenge against newcomer Johnny, who had been performing strangely similar to Iceroll's early performance a season earlier. Just as Jim Shorts was added to “The Equation Sensation”, Iceroll was eliminated in the Challenge against Johnny a mere three weeks into the new season. Appearances: Season 3, episodes 1-7; Season 4, episodes 1-3 Known allies: Baumer, 4815162342 Seasonal rank: 13 (Season 3); 18 (Season 4) Teams: “Ice Ice Baumy” (Season 3, ep 1-7); “The Equation Sensation” (Season 4, ep 2-3) ITZ ONLY ED Also known as Edward, iTz Only Ed first appeared in the Season 3 premiere (“The First Shadows”) and was one of a handful of new players to the season. Ed was never a really prominent player in the game but was very vocal in his brief stay, earning lots of attention as a raucous individual. This earned him more dislike than favoritism, as he was never picked by the winners to be a member of their respective teams. Instead, Ed remained as a solo player for the first quarter of the season, and he was among the unteamed players who were sent to the Challenge in 3.4 “Last Opportunity”. Alongside Fakhir, JackO, and Totem – all esteemed veterans – Edward stood no chance and failed the Challenge in last place, tapping out of the season just prior to being grouped onto any team. Appearances: Season 3, epsidoes 1-4 Known allies: None Seasonal rank: 16 JAKE GITTES Jake appeared in the first of the Final Five games as one of the five main bosses of that round. He emerged as Final Five Champion Baumer's competitor in their respective Challenge. In that Challenge, Jake, a former participant of Baumer's Summer Game, defeated Baumer and caused him to enter the mega Challenge that followed that week – a Challenge which resulted in several eliminations, including those of Goffe and Alfred. Baumer, however, survived that Challenge, so Jake Gittes wound up having little to no lasting damage, despite his best efforts. Appearance: Season 3, Episode 13 Status: Antagonist/Boss SHAWNMR Shawn and Gopher co-hosted together in the two Special Guest Host Weeks (episodes “Guest Host Week” and “Another Kick in the Crotch”). Unlike his partner Gopher, Shawn was less severe and less bashful in his approach. As the main host of the pair in the first part of the two-part episode, Shawn helped level the playing field by introducing negative points and by causing so major upsets in the point balances of most of the standing players. However, Shawn did little else outside of that and never tried to take on too much authority, unlike Gopher the next week. Shawn worked with Gopher then but took a back seat as co-host that week, letting Gopher exercise full reign of his authority. In some ways, Shawn's failure as guest host is seen as his unwillingness to keep Gopher in check. However, many praise Shawn for his work as co-host and have seen the episodes as some of the best of the series. Appearances: Season 3, episodes 8-9 First Mentioned: Season 3, episode 5 Status: Special Guest Host TOWER Tower was a major pawn in the first of the Final Five Championship games. He appeared in two of the Challenges that week, in the first against Riczhang and in the latter agaisnt DoctorWho. Tower lost his first Challenge agaisnt Riczhang, ensuring that Riczhang would move on to the semi-final. However, Tower trumped Doc and sent him into the mega Challenge, which consisted of all the other players of the Final Five Championship. DoctorWho was among those who lost that Challenge, so in many ways, his defeat can be chalked up to Tower's success in the first Challenge. Appearances: Season 3, episode 13 Status: Antagonist/Boss
  14. The Legend Challenge - Round 2 This time, three Legends and one former Legend compete for glory. Alfred, CEDAR, Goffe, and DoctorWho take the field once again. CEDAR, glorified winner of last week's Legend Challenge, has the most to gain and lose from this Challenge...although DoctorWho's life is on the line here, and if he loses, there's no coming back. Let's see how the players did! ALFRED: CEDAR: DOCTORWHO: GOFFE:
  15. The Challenge (Week 9) - Results ChD versus Schumacher FTW. One will walk forward, One will walk home. Below are the results: ChD: Schumacher FTW:
  16. Whatcha talking about? I see The Bling Ring...lol.
  17. If I had known I would have came for you. You deserved to be on BOA, especially after this season. ...and Acsc, smart off with me again and I'll...I'll do something you won't like.
  18. No true representative here for BSG, but Numbers and Spaghetti would both be great representatives of Survivor, and Doc an excellent choice for BOA.
  19. Well the few times I've ever played Box Office Alliance, I never used any extrapolations or what not...and I schooled all yo asses (except Baumer that little runt!).
  20. The results are in after much delay. TEAM 1 CEDAR: 89.52% Punishment: 90.85% Riczhang: 89.40% TEAM 2 4815162342: 88.08% Glassfairy: 90.08% DoctorWho: 86.14% The winners are: Punishment and Glassfairy. Because the season is coming to a close and we don't have time to do a final round, as both players are probably absent anyways, the prizes are going to be PMed to both contestants and will be available for use in subsequent seasons of Box Office War.
  21. Since they're all three contestants in BOA, the winner will get 20 points in Box Office Alliance, also, as tie over to this game...which still, IMO, partially grew out of BOA.
  22. I'm not in on the mix. Don't know anything about RTH and never have paid it any mind.
  23. Yeah, how'd you guys think Baumer made it to the Season Finale last season? Dun dun dun dun.
  24. If this is an issue, I apologize, but I try to afford like 12+ hours for people to respond, as people are usually prompt about doing so. With so many different time zones I don't know when people are online but it differs for people in different time zones.
