  2. I honestly don't think shaming people will make them stop piracing, in fact it will create the opposite effect and make people do it in spite of it. Nobody likes to be told what to do and not to do. Its human nature. As for myself there are multiple reason why I am forced to piracing movies and TV shows: 1- The crisis in Venezuela has reached to such a point where moviegoing has become ridiculously expensive so I cant go every saturday like I used to and only go to the really big releases (Like Rougue One) 2- Even in the days where I could, Subtitled version ususally only plays at night, leaving only dubbed versions in matineè. I fucking hate watching dubbed movies so thats a big no no for me 3- Same reason I stopped watching TV shows on basic cables, They started to dub everything and most of the times the SAP doesnt work, so screw them. 4- You can only pay for Netflix in dollars and thats hard to come by in this country. 5- Video players in some legal services are crappier than pirate players (for the most part) 6- Anime doesnt come here legally at all (unless you have a crunchyroll account but I dont watch airing anime) Granted, Piracy can hurt the industry theres no denying that, but when you are stuck between a rock and a hard place like me what can you do? Convenience is the solution in my opinion.
  3. Garden Of Words is a fucking masterpiece. Even for a 45 minute film is just beautiful to watch.
  4. Number of tickets sold on the weekend of December 23th to December 25th: 01.- SING - 13.703 (NEW). 02.- MOANA - 12.829 (-66,6%) (443.820). 02.- ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY - 10.850 (-73,2%) (101.693). 04.- OFFICE CHRISTMAS PARTY - 5.890 (-66,3%) (101.293). 05.- MASTERMINDS - 3.552 (NEW). 06.- FANTASTIC BEAST AND WHERE TO FIND THEM - 2.672 (-70,1%) (300.687). 07.- UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS - 2.526 (-70,2%) (117.704). 08.- SULLY - 962 (-73,2%) (46.453). 09.- DOCTOR STRANGE - 718 (-70,3%) (286.423). 10.- C.A.P. 2 INTENTOS (Local film) - 453 (-79,1%) (15.498). Note: Keep in mind it was 24th and 25th this weekend and a lot of theatres where either closed or limited to early screenings. Next weekend might not be any different.
  5. Read the manga too if you can. There is more character development and stuff in there that for some reason the anime skipped entirely.
  6. Dude, the final episode of Keijo had me rolling on the fucking floor. Definetly one of my favorite anime series of the year.
  7. Considering the lack of cash that this country is going through right now, I'd say Rogue One did rather well.

  10. Full Metal Panic Season 4 is the one I am wating the most. Am still butthurt that will probably never get a 3rd season of Haruhi Suzumiya or Spice and Wolf, but I guess you cant always get what you want.
  11. I really hope Venezuela is one of those countries, cause I really want to see Your Name on a big ass screen. I haven`t seen an anime film here in theatres since Pokemon 3 and Spirited Away and that was 2002.
  12. Zootopia increased 1% in its second weekend against Deadpool with 89,000 admissions I dont remember how Frozen did but I know for sure it increased as well.
  13. Number of tickets sold on the weekend of December 2nd to December 4th: 01.- MOANA - 57.643 (-1,7%) (161.838). 02.- FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM - 24.109 (-34,6%) (200.646). 03.- UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS - 21.984 (NEW). 04.- SULLY - 10.179 (NEW). 05.- DOCTOR STRANGE - 7.458 (-48,1%) (257.012). 06.- JACK REACHER: NEVER GO BACK - 5.271 (-57,5%) (30.016). 07.- TROLLS - 5.049 (-53,5%) (214.121). 08.- KEEPING UP WITH THE JONESES - 3.080 (-48,0%) (70.809). 09.- HANDS OF STONE - 2.618 (-52,1%) (77.917). 10.- THE INCA - 2.531 (-22,6%) (9.626).
  14. Sure. And I strongly believe that Moana will increase in the second weekend. Animated family movies almost always increase (or stay flat) in their second weekends and this being a Disney movie should be no surprise if it happens.

  17. There is a documentary called Waking Sleeping Beauty about the 90's Disney Renaissance where they talked about this. Major lack of marketing clearly played a big rol in its faliure. Witch is a shame because this movie is pretty freaking awesome, and it has some of the best musical scores I have heard in a Disney movie (aside from BATB and TLK)
  18. dude, I need a second season of The Devil is a Part Timer, like...now. I hate these read the manga/light novels endings. Anime adaptations should stand on their own. Also, Highschool DxD... wow... the amount of boobs in this show is fucking insane.
  19. That akward moment when you realize that a Cars 3 teaser is more dark and gritty than anything Zach Snyder/DCEU ever made
