  1. Goffe also answered 71.5% in Question 8? Coincidence?
  2. I would say go on with your intended twists. Like you said, predicting is not 100% science. This week might have been hard to predict but so what?
  3. I would have hated to not be scored, even if not scoring would let me keep my lead. All of us put hard work here. Its gonna be like every other week, luck plays a factor. Its just a lot more during this weekend, and we gotta live with that.
  4. There are less rationale people in the world than you think. And fear is not the reason for backing out, its more dampening of spirit, there's a difference. And rationality won't help anything like that.
  5. This is not a film to be watched multiple times, but only one time and be admired for the rest of your life.
  6. The only film that could ever bring out tears from my eyes. Extremely emotional, and an effecting war film. Absolute masterpiece.10/10
  7. A sweet film, not up to the standards of the Studio Ghibli greats like Spirited Away or Grave of the Fireflies, but better than whole lot of other animes. The story could have been better though. The film's quality and experience was relied on the emotional impact heavily, and I feel that excluding Spiller from the movie and more interaction between Sho and Arrietty would have made a better film. They didn't have enough friendly moments together. The film is visually aesthetic.7/10
  8. 6/10To me, its better than AWE, but not DMC. It felt cheap in a few places and I think the story could have been better.
  9. A+It's my favorite movie of all time. A truly extraordinary film with one of the best narrating and unforgettable story.
  10. We also have to keep in mind that midnight business was immune to the shooting effect. So, if the movie was supposed to open to 180M but instead opened to 163M, then the effect is 17M out of 150M (180-30M of midnights).
  11. No one's talking of Twilight in a Twilight forum, so hilarious.
  12. Very few people are concerned with what it does at the box office. They are taking a bit of time to get over the tragedy and their dampened spirits. Seeing the movie during OW is not their top priority, enjoying the movie is.
  13. OK, the shooting had a huge effect. Many may argue that it had little effect and TDKR having no Joker or Heath Ledger's death is the main cause. However, TDKR is the sequel to TDK, which should make up for that. Plus, TDKR is showing in more IMAX screens, which should have given it a 10M lead over TDK during OW.I have been tracking the tracking of TDKR for a few months. At boxofficebuzz.tumblr.com it was in the mid to high 180s for few months, and went up to 195M just before release, indicating a OW of over 190M with 200M very possible. MTC and RS were showing 185M or so. If it opens to "only" 163M or so, the shooting had at least an effect of 20M, possibly as high as 40M.
  14. IMDB top 250 has it at 8.7 (rank 18)http://www.imdb.com/chart/top
  15. Thanks a lot. Same for me, I would just wait till Monday now.
  16. For me it was touch and go. I would have abstained but took a chance and answered "Yes".
  17. Oh, you never know how some of the public react to things like this. Some will say tomorrow that WB should be pulling off TDKR from theaters forever, trust me.
  18. If this theater starts business again, it might be victim of another psychopath just trying to simulate today's situation. Its better if its closed forever.
  19. Midnight number is final. Good call though in the Summer Game. Most of us thought 30M or less to be absolutely ridiculous.
