I've been busy for a couple weeks but I LOVE that the Avengers is destroying everything. This will finish number 1 domestically with about 600-630 million this year IMO. WW it will be 1 or 2 IMO. Extremely happy for this movie.

Very cool. I mentioned in the other thread how similar this was to 2002. A marvel movie destroying the OW record set by a Potter film the year before.Also how many thought SM1 would be big but make less than Star Wars 2 and how many think TA would be big but lose to Batman. Deja Vu bigtime.

Is it possible for TA to pass THG after next weekends numbers? That would be crazy.

2002 we had our first 100+ opener and exactly 10 years later...we have our first 200 million opener. AMAZING
