Ok thanks, I was not aware of these old local films.
In the 50/60`s before they began keeping records there were a local movie called “The red horses” that estimated sold 2,2-2,6 mill tickets. Thats 50% of population back then…- 1

Tell me if I'm wrong but in terms of admissions, it should finish at #6 all time behind Titanic, Avatar and the 3 films of the LOTR saga, right ? And TN2 will finish just behind at #8 all time but above the first TN ?
Hmmm. I doubt that. We have some local movies in the past that had much higher attendence i think. We had a local selling 1.2 mill in 1976

@fmpro so Disney has just let go Denmark or what? Eternals just 5 cinemas seeing it release. Around 1500 pre-sales for WED, may be 2.5k final for $50K.
Seems like it. But i think its the other way around. 95% won`t accept the deal that Disney wants. Things have changed for theaters since Corona, Disney+ and a 45 day window. But Disney still wants the same high % of grossLuckily there are a Cinemaxx in my town and i can just go there instead

The first Fandome teaser has now surpassed 1 million likes on the WB account (Youtube). It's the third DC trailer to hit this milestone.
I think this is a much better trailer than the first- 1

Great start for Venom.
Mind-boggling numbers for NTTD. That it’s likely heading for top five all-time after the 18 months we’ve had really does defy belief.
It would be like a movie making $600-700 million in the US during these times. Remarkable.
JB run here is like 1B++ in the US -

Liked it better when I watched it a second time (now I saw that I'm not the first person with that impression). Maybe I expected too much when I saw it for the first time. IMO the film is ok (6.5/10).
PS: Didn't know that a 4th film exists. I saw 2 & 3 not long ago and yes, that one with the group wasn't bad either.
A 4th🙃😄Including Freddy v Jason there were 8 movies before the remake. Plus a TV series that ran for 2-3 years. We got a lot of Freddy back them from 1984-1994

Yeah. I did not care much for this.
I absolutely loved 1 and 3 and really liked 2 and 4
I can still rewatch these old ones. They stand the test of time for me

Well, it definitely seems like Halloween Kills is getting screwed over in the UK. At my local Cineworld, it’s in the small/mid size screens and only has one more showing per day than Candyman is currently still getting. At The Light it’s got two showings per day in one of their smallest screens…
I know it’s up against Bond and Venom, but you’d have thought it’d have at least got one of the bigger screens on a Friday/Saturday night.
Same here in Denmark. Only a few evening screens in small rooms. JB and Venom are selling way to good -

Ohh by far. But that is also thanks to corona. People really needed to get out and the other reason is that all Disney movies incl 20th century are basicly not released here. Local movies was also not produced much under Covid so there are`nt many movies released.
That really played down in favour of movies like Ternet Ninja and JB25. Im pretty sure that under normal cercumstances they would have made less. Maybe 10-30%
