I'll hold off my thoughts until I see it again on Friday (my first impression is that it's a collection of scenes (most of which are good/really good!) but not much of a movie).

I will say that I've never had a crowd react to a movie like this. People don't react here - you're lucky to get laughs in a comedy. Even Endgame got nothing. But people here were cheering like it was a concert. WOM is going to be next, next level.

Same here. I have never seen that before. Not even with Avengers movies.

Standing ovation at the end and lots of cheering and clapping during the movie.

@fmpro how many cinemas do you think Kino.Dk cover. What % of market.

It covers around 25% of theaters.

We have aprox 63.000 seats in Denmark. I dont know how many of them are covered by Kino. But my guess is around 40% due to the sizes. But im not 100% sure

Get yourself double masked for the show. I am very antsy in a crowd these days despite having taken my booster. We will know overall impact by around end of the year. This is not specific to Denmark as Spidey will be uber packed every where.

Yeah. Even with everyone showing a corona passport there will likely be a few thats infected. Im having my booster in january but im not that affraid to get infected

So Spidey will be the next super spreader event in Denmark. If there are no social distancing and you have crowded theaters, you just need few omicron + to wreck havoc.

Yes. My wedensday screen is super packed. We will be around 400 sitting shoulder to shoulder..

Theaters could be closing in Denmark. Spidey is in Danger. Around 1/200 danish people has allready booked a ticket….

And i have tickets in 7 days.

Crossing fingers that theaters dodges the first restriction bullet

Latest news is that theaters dodges the bullet in this round. But could be next if this is not enough. So Spidey will open as planned.
Only nightlife and standing gatherings will be very limited. All kids home from school for a few weeks. Could actully be good for Spidey😁

This is turning out to be solid opener, hopefully we don't get party spoiled with theaters closing 😶

I finally saw this and as a Bond film I thought it was absolutely terrible.

-The end does not work at all, its lazy and kinda comes out of nowhere.

-Lashana Lynch was better than I expected but the problem is that her character has no bearing on the plot at all, you could edit out all her scenes and the movie would barely change.  It feels like a late tacked on addition for whatever reason.  This is unforgivable in a movie that already has too much plot going on it for a Bond film.

-The only real Bond girl in this movie is Ana De Armas and guess what shes the best part of the film but only in it for like 5 minutes.  Ugh, Why?

-You really did Felix like that?  Ugh.

-Rami Malek's villain is pretty bad.

-The action set pieces in this were generic and forgettable, not one stands out.

-Bond doesn't feel or act like Bond in this movie at all.

Very disappointing end to the Craig era which started out with the best film in the entire franchise and goes out on a total whimper here.

100% agree. It was a terrible Bond movie that wont stand the test of time

Ghostbusters has always had very low international appeal - practically non-existent in countries around the world where English isn't the main language.

Not 100% true. I live in Denmark and Ghostbusters are Iconic here. And have been for many years. The first two are often shown on national tv and everyone over 30 knows the GB song.
Why its doing poorly i have no answer too

I think it would do around what it did now. Reason being non-reliance on market which are currently impacted by CoVID. Also tickets are abnormally increased at many places to set off CoVID in Europe.

Like in Germany, the ATP is EUR11 compared to EUR9.5 of Spectre. In UK its around GBP10+ compared to 8ish of Spectre. Similarily in Nordics.

Also lucky that ER got better due to CoVID by 10% or so in most European currency as compared to what they were in 2019.

    Very much agree here

Can NTTD overtake Avatar in Danish local currency by next weekend ? Is there a chance that NTTD will also exceed Avatar in $ dollars or is that unlikely ?

Not by next weekend. Maybe full run

Avatar had 1 or 2 re-releases so no. I don`t have the number but i think its in the 150-200 mill DKK range. 25+ mill $.
    Impossible
