Israel box office thread: 2022 admission numbers

Do you know of Israeli admissions numbers? I'm curious because I was just wondering if Lemon Popsicle still ranks high in all-time admissions (Wikipedia says it sold 1.35M tickets)

If it's not on top 20 then it's bad. 

 

Bad is a relative word. Obviously Frozen numbers are perfectly fine for most films, but compared to what it did overall, it's bad. The same way I would call Madagascar 4 doing Frozen numbers terrible, because it would be half of what Madagascar 3 made, even though that would be fine for most films.

I'm sure it's high up there, that is about what Avatar did. But exact numbers for all films is impossible to find.

It depends on what standards you want to go by.

For an original animation from the studio that previously made Tangled WIR (its pre-release expectations), it's adequate (less than Tangled but more than WIR).

For a film that made more than 1.2B WW, easily made a new animated record and is in the top 5 films of all time, it's really quite disappointing.

HTTYD2 is really legging on, I had just mentioned Israel as one of the few markets where it would end up behind HTTYD1, but I stand corrected.Actually, the only foreign markets where it is definitely going to finish behind HTTYD1 are Portugal, Greece and Slovenia (all of whom experienced economic contraction/collapse between 2010 when HTTYD1 released, and now). Still too early to call for Spain.
