Michael Shannon is great, Chris Evans gives a good performance as a quasi-weirdo, the rest of the film is kinda average.

The acting performances are good, especially Shannon and Chris Evans.As for the movie, it's okay. I feel that it's too cliche and predictable at times. The good acting and interactions between characters make the movie somewhat enjoyable for me. But the direction is average, which is what hurts the film most IMO.I like the performances a lot though, so overall I'd give it somewhere between C+/B-

This is kind of how I thought about it too. It felt rushed, I mean he was married with a kid in the first 20 minutes. And then 10 minutes later he has another kid and they're Tweens. And Ray Liotta pretty much disappeared from the movie towards the end. I know in the end what happened to Roy Demeo. Still Shannon was great and Evans was really surprising. B-
