A loose adaptation of Nintendo's game series Punch Out: a story about Little Mac, a small, high dreaming cruiserweight boxer who has to fight through a row of heavyweight competitors, headlined by Mike Tyson in his prime, to win the Punch Out World Championship.

 

Tarantulas Vs. Scorpions

Horror action film about two arachnids who are transformed into giants during an accidental scientific experiment, and duke it out over the city, while the military tries to strike back, and to think they might be better off if people stopped confusing them for insects. 

 

The Second Biggest Puncher Alive

13 / 48 - At 1st, it's critically disregarded as a Syfy Original-quality shitfest, but general audiences like it, and the movie develops strong enough legs to become a small success. Becomes a horror aficcionados cult favorite many years down the line.

 

Now the Punch Out World Champion, Little Mac has conquered everyone's expectations and sits atop of the mountain, waiting for the winner of the #1 contender tournament. But against expectation, James "Buster" Douglas upsets Mike Tyson in Tokyo, and becomes the challenger to Little Mac's title. He KO's Mac, giving him his 1st major loss. Mac now has to work back to the top of the mountain, to reach the title that he fought for so hard.

A year has passed since Douglas vs. Mac II. After winning the uphill battle that was the previous chapter, Little Mac has done it all, holding to the Punch Out World Championship for an entire 365 days, flailing off any new contestants that might have showed up. Buster Douglas took a year long break, and returned to the Punch Out Tournament, but similarly to how he broke into the scene, he was taken out in an upset by one Evander Holyfield, one of Mac's best friends and an all-time great cruiserweight on his own. Evander goes on to win the Punch Out Tournament as a result, and now, two brothers from separate mothers must face off in the fight of each others lives. Both insist that they remain friendly... but for both, this is more than just a boxing match: it's a psychological war of attrition as well. And one drunken bet changes everything: loser must retire. Will Mac be able to overcome his demons and force his best friend into retirement? Or will he ride off into the sunset after fighting with everything he has?

2 decades after the events of Thrice, Little Mac, who retired after the loss to Holyfield, asks himself: can I do it one more time? He announces his return to the Punch Out World Championship, and promises to show up the younger generation why he is still one of the greatest of all time. But the also older, semi-retired Holyfield doesn't take this lightly, and spiteful of his friend's return, he enters the tournament as well, and if he didn't retire him the 1st time... he might as well cripple him this time.

The tarantulas and scorpions are back, only this time they've got a little "magic" help from what appears to be a demon from the underground, this results in a fiery battle to the supposed death, and another monster that's lurking in the corner, waiting to strike when the time is right.

In an alternate, futuristic dimension where 22nd century soldiers came back in time to introduce advanced technology to the very 1st humans that ever existed, an imaginative group of middle school friends, who select to name themselves as The Five Of A Kind (in reference to their favorite secret hobby, that being electronic poker), sets in their own investigation as to why Vigor City's highly popular (and their favorite) theme park + casino resort, the Jack In The Hole, was inexplicably shut down by the higher ups. They manage to discover that someone was murdered, and little do they know that someone is after them. Before they know it, they're all captured and locked down in the Jack In The Hole facilities, where an unknown identity plans to take them underground and brainwash them to forget what they saw. A cat and mouse chase begins within the resort, for a fun, Scooby-Doo inspired horror/thriller adventure story.

A theme that is still very topical in current America and its political climate. (And unlike Kathryn Bigelow's Detroit, this movie doesn't show what people don't want to see, but rather what they DO want to see and feel like when it comes to American justice )

 

The Five of a Kind and the Girl with a Spider Shoulder

Drama about a middle aged man who lives trapped inside his own mind, as he constantly seems to be reliving the murder of his own father, that he caused (in which, he says to the father before killing him "I asked you first..." and some initially muddled words). We don't know why he did it at 1st, but we find out later, and the movie asks us if, no matter how moralist we can be, would we do the same in that situation or not.

(In another words, a literal copy-pase of my plot for the anti-gravity horror flick. I'm becoming Jaume Collet-Serra )
